I've been eating healthily all weekend and although I haven't done any exercise as such I have done loads of physical work. I have done 4 trips to the tip, dismantled a bed, made a bed (that was a work out in itself trying to get the finials and feet onto the end of the bed they were so snug I had to keep on bashing them in on the stairs as due to shape of bed and the fact that its painted couldn't use a hammer), teak oiled my garden table and rubbed down and repainted a nest of tables. I think that I am now dead so will go for a hot bath and collapse in a heap. It probably sounds mad but I've really enjoyed doing it all and feel very productive.

Still no sign of a sponsor link MrGlass :nono:

After seeing some photos of myself taken this weekend showing my face looking rather round I thought that I had better get my act together, how many times have I said that before  . But as I would like to have a summer holiday and the thought of me in swimwear :X My next lot of social events don't involve eating so I've no excuse on that front. I intend to visit a National Trust property at the weekend (thanks to raj101's post) so I will look for one where I can incorporate a walk. Just had fruit n fibre for my breakfast, I'm having chicken salad for dinner and have just stocked up on healthy food.
How's everyone else doing?

I put a grand total of 6 pounds on in the two weeks I was in America, wahey!
Needless to say I gave myself a crackdown and returned to normal on return :P Lost 3 of them in just over a week, so just got to work on the last 3 o/
Started up at fitness first with the BF again, got a 12 month off peak membership(since his hours have changed) but means we can go gym on the weekends, and Im going to attempt to start running during the week!(my new uni house has a giant park right next to it!)

Oh AND once the papers actually arrive, I'll be taking part in the BRMB walkathon in Brum in May, soon as my sponsor link comes through, any sponsors would be most welcome and appreciated :)

I've been out of control for a while and now since I've noticed I've got a 'shelf' bum ( when your bum is so big, your clothes get caught above it:P ) I really have to decide what I need to do (eat less!)

I've never heard it called that before, I will check to see if I've got one too
Due to last minute cinema invite hence lack of time. I'm now having a Quorn Cottage pie and some frozen veg, its surprisingly very nice and quite filling only 200 calories for the cottage pie (£1 from Asda) and 120 for the veg and just deciding on whether to have an apple or yoghurt now.

hehe Its just something I made up myself :shifty:

I'm going to try and do it one day at a time and write down what I eat. I've still got some Diet Chef stuff left, then I'll start WW - I lost heaps of weight with them, purely because of the weigh in every week.

Good luck everyone

(Apr 2012) Woah - there's 182 pages to read in this thread, but I need to cut to the chase and get help now.

I used to dip into this thread on occasion last year and always thought it looked really good.

Does Mr G's Motivator Weightloss Club thing still run where people log their weight loss against their personal targets and provide support and encouragement for each other?

I ask because I seriously need to lose a significant amount of weight and I was hoping for some shared encouragement from here. The Body Mass Index thing suggests that I need to lose over 4 stone to be a healthy weight for my height. 8O

Alternatively, I calculate that I need to grow approximately another foot and a half taller.

Seriously though, are people still engaged with this and if so can I sign up to be part of it?

Well you've taken the first step. I never even managed to do that! Mrg will come back and help us all, once he's seen the thread waking up again. If not we can all help each other to stay strong vx
