Direct from Portugal the bluesy Fado sensations

Superstars in their native Portugal, Deolinda breathe new life into the country's signature fado style. Returning to London to perform songs from their latest release Dois Selos e um Carimbo (World Connection), the tight-knit quartet is led by dreamy storytelling singer Ana Bacalhau and boasts a flamboyant stage show featuring ukelelem cavaquinho, braguesa, classical guitar and double bass.

Their debut album Cançao ao Lado (2009) achieved Platinum status in Portugal and their unique blend of delicate fado and Cape Verdean blues saw them scoop Newcomer of the Year at the 2010 Songlines Music Awards. Following a sold-out Jazz Café show in 2011, it's time for London to once again experience the magic of this truly original Portuguese band in the intimacy of the Union Chapel.

The unstoppable phenomenon that is NKOTBSB (a show-stopping night featuring Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block) have kicked off their European tour and are now in the UK.

“Our fans want us overseas, so that is what we will do,” said New Kids’ Donnie Wahlberg. “We have such dedicated fans, and they continue to come out for us time and time again. Our international fans have been flying to see us stateside for years, so now we are coming to them!”

“Europe is like a second home for Backstreet so we are all excited to finally be bringing this show to all our fans there. NKOTBSB is going international,“ added Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys. “We can’t wait to get over there and show everyone the fun we’ve been having all summer long.”
