Saw this in Edinburgh last night, but Ocean Terminal made us queue outside and let us in at 6.20 tho we did not see anyone come out. Bit like the gold rush when everyone hurrying in to get a seat and still had folk coming in 20 mins into the film.

Perhaps funniest bit of the night was 2 guys coming in and turning the wrong way almost into the screen. Good they had a sense of humour.

The film was heaps better than the Raid. Jason Statham believable as the lead and good that the little girl was not a dolly.

Lots of action and car chases and all in all quite a good film. Liked all the different languages and subtitles and back story which added to the films enjoyment for me.

7/10 from us

Saw this last night, my first free film. It was perfect for the mood I was in. Weak story but lots of bullets and bone crunching fight seens. Awesome!

Caught this last night thanks to 'prettyxcool' who kindly gave me their ticket. Really enjoyed the film, one of Statham's better films (not sure that is saying much) but you know what kind of film you are going to get with JS. Action scenes were really good, fight scenes were clear unlike some of the recent films I've seen. The mix of characters blended well, although the ending was slightly more abrupt than anticipated! We enjoyed the film a lot so would give it a score of 7.5/10.

Saw this at Edinburgh Ocean Terminal last night as well. Admit to liking Jason Statham films and was not dissapointed with Safe. Lot's of action and a bit more of a back story that some of his films. Carving out a good niche for himself. An enjoyable 7.5/10

Comic book violence. One guy who was shot soon reappears entirely unscathed. Passable but no more.

Just noticed the new ticket id system on the Showfilmfirst tickets when I printed out my new tickets for 1st May.
Probably too many people trying to sneak in with photocopies. Will that mean they have a checklist/scanner in the cinemas from now on I wonder?

Looking forward to seeing the film after the previous cancellation :D

Only just noticed the Id!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

There's an ad in today's METRO page 23:
Win a pair of premiere tickets. Bring this ad to BFI Imax for your chance to get in. Tickets will be issued at the discretion of the organisers from 5pm onwards.

Are they that short of people to go?

There were a girl either side of us who did that with the paper and got one each. Not sure why they were sat either side of us though.

WEll what can I say? I've vnever seen a Statham film to begin with, but I had some idea what it would be like. PCX and I were in row d, poor Hopeprince was in the front row 8O

I could not see a thing, it was all very dark, very blurry and nothing was clear enough to see. Was the film dark in normal cinemas?
The sound didn't appear to be so hot either. No one really laughed at anything as Stath's voice was so low and everything else seems to be so loud, all the one liners passed by.

I can't give it a score as I truly didn't manage to get much out of it.

BTW does he normal do accents?
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks
