Re: Weight Watchers
Preston1990 you'll be pleased to know that I did for the walk but as for the fab thighs it'll take more than an hours walk
Just been to Ikea tonight and for one of the very few times I didn't have meatballs
I had a weight watchers chilli before I went so that I would resist and just had a cola light on my way out, does all the walking around there count as exercise?

Re: Weight Watchers
Went to MyWeight tonight. Got weighed again and had gained another 400g. OH on the other hand had lost 3kg! I have no idea how! Ok, I cut out his Snickers but that can't make that much of a difference, surely? So he gets all the backslapping and the blue stickers for doing nothing on his own. Lovely. And I found out that I properly hate exercise. I am fine with walking etc. but try to get me to do stupid moves on a yoga mat, and I will not be best pleased. I did them though - OH gave up half way through, the wuss!

Re: Weight Watchers
Diane, Well done for having that walk, it's great to see that you're keeping up the exercise regime!Diane65 wrote:Preston1990 you'll be pleased to know that I did for the walk but as for the fab thighs it'll take more than an hours walk
I just wanted to compliment you on your Onion Marmalade recipe that you shared on this thread last week. I made some yesterday to top off my beef burger - it was Scrumdiddlyumptious and as you said so easy to make. I had to use Dark brown soft sugar as I didn't have any of the light stuff in. But it turned out great!
Here's a link back to Dianes recipe:

If you've got any more - keep them coming. Maybe we should start a centralised collection of recipes with an index and keep them all together somewhere? What do you think everyone?
Meals Today
1. banana (thanks anakin) , pot of earl grey no milk or lemon.
2. celery, carrot battons. Tiny amount of organic lemon humous dip to add a bit of flavour.
3. Seared fresh Fresh Tuna steak on bed watercress, rocket, spinach salad leaves.
4. Rope grown Mussels cooked in a fragrant thai sauce. Small piece of crusty bread.
5. Endamame and adzuki salad beans with soy and ginger dressing. Can recomment this - had it yesterday - tastes fab so having again today.
Still Day one of my revisited cardio exercises - never got them done yesterday as planned. Must do them today!!

Re: Weight Watchers
What a fab idea re the recipes as I really like the idea of Endamame and adzuki salad beans with soy and ginger dressing and I'm so pleased that you liked the Onion Marmalade. What a delicious day you have ahead but still amazed at how you can survive on a banana for breakfast, I'm a cereal girl.
Todays menu:
Branflakes (300 calories as I have a large portion)
Cup a soup, bread roll and an apple (250 calories)
Beans on toast on multi-seed bread followed by pineapple and a muller light coconut yoghurt with dark chocolate (recommended by akh43) (450 calories)
Maltesers (200 calories) I know its not nutritious but going to the theatre so custom to have chocolates and its in my 1200 calorie limit
I will fit in a walk today as have a 2 hour gap in the middle of the day.
