Thanks for the continued encouragement everyone - It's really helping me to keep going. o/

Well - I've just got weighed this morning and am happy to report that I've lost another 3 lbs. I'm really pleased even though I know that I should be reducing a bit slower - Hey, it's early days yet and I'm sure the slow down/ plateauing will happen soon enough.

Last night I exchanged legal tender (Hah!, try and star that out Beate) at my local supermarket for loads of salad, crispy vegetables, and some fabulously fresh seafood - prawns, mussels, baby octopus, smoked salmon fillet. Going to continue with the healthy eating this week.

Think I'm going to heed anakins advice and try adding some spicy stuff in to boost my metabolism. I've also been reading about the benefits of drinking plenty of water to keep hydrated and also to use as a "filler upper" before meals. It's supposed to boost your metabolism too, and is apparently what you should be doing before exercising too. So, I'll be trying that this week.

As I read in the early pages of this thread:

"Water! - The more you drink - the more you shrink!"

Stay focussed people and good luck for your weigh-ins! :D

But wouldn't it depend what you put in it? Or would all you virtuous types be drinking it neat?

My latest masterpiece (!) is a cauldron of (vegetarian) sausage stew, which I thought would be warming and comforting in this wet weather. At this rate OH might be sorry if (or when) the weather improves - or he might be hugely relieved!
