Yeh its party time, Well done that is absolutely amazing I'm so happy for you :cheer:

I love the photos of me in my youth, I always did look happy with myself when it was my turn on the weighing table and that looks so like me now with my breakfast (I was 40 when the chubby arms developed - ie started working more hours and less exercise) :rofl2:

I take it that you watched the DVD as she says that "Do the best you can" or have you been peeping through my curtains. I managed to do about 70% of the arm exercises with the weights so still need working at but you have to have goals.

I totally agree with you MsThrifty I do assume that people must have more than one thing for breakfast I never have.

Menu of the day:
Porridge and black coffee (300 calories)
Chicken sandwich and yoghurt (300 calories)
Going out for dinner tonight but will choose a healthy option (600 calories or less - looks like salad for me with a low calorie dressing) I don't drink anything with more than 10 calories in it so water, diet coke and black coffee.

As only in for an hour and a half after work it will have to be a 30 minute brisk walk and I will do the arm workout part from my DVD.

Have a fun day everyone in the sunshine o/

Congratulations on your tremendous achievement, Preston! What a shining example and proof that you can have the occasional treat (and lapse!) and still make great progress if you persist.

ImageWell done Preston that is an amazing weight lost in a week.

I have not lost much weight in the past three weeks but my stomach is not so bloated and I am delighted to find that I can now put on a pair of trousers I had b*ght in M & S sale last year. I pulled the zip up and fasten the buttons without any trouble. o/
I struggled to fasten them when I b*ght them - but they were a bargain.
Maybe the bubbles and jets in the jaccuzi yesterday worked after all Diane65!!! ;)

A small helping of granola with greek yoghurt is about the same number of carbs as a plate of porage - approx 37 carbs. I am trying to restrict the carbs intake to 100 grams per day so if I use 37 in the morning and 12 at night with two oatcakes then it leaves me approx 50 grams to use during the day.

Today's menu

Porage with a few blueberries and cup of tea.
Homemade vegetable soup and a banana.
Baked Salmon fillet with sugarsnap peas, baby corn and five small jersey royal potatoes. A yoghurt.
Two oatcakes with a cup of tea.

Off to have a walk round the shops in town - see if there is any other bargains I can slip into. ;)

What a lovely feeling slipping into clothes that were snug o/ That certainly is a result.
Your meals sound lovely once again - I wish I liked fish as it's so good for you.

I've lost 2lbs this week so it still works with my treat day and I've now moved into the under the  stone mark so I'm happy :D akh43 knows what I mean ;)

I'm not on a diet, although i could do with losing a few pounds.
I have never been to weight watchers....but my mum used to be
a weight watchers leader, i dont suppose any of you ever had a
leader called Christine in the Hazelgrove/ poynton a few years
ago (if you were attending then?)

I don't think that any of us have been to a weight watchers meeting we are all doing it off our own back but please join in if you want to lose a few pounds. I know that you've never met me yet but when you see me (hopefully soon at one of the screenings) you will see that I have more than a few pounds to lose

That's great Diane65. o/ I'll be more than happy if I lose 2lbs this week. Trying to be good but going out tomorrow for lunch to an Italian restaurant so will not be able to resist either pizza or pasta. :noo:

I think it is better that we are all just doing it ourselves and getting encouragement from each other. (much cheaper too). These clubs can end up costing a fortune and then you just put the weight back on when you stop going.

Didn't see any bargains in the town. Want to get a new swimsuit but hopefully by the time they sell off the summer season clothing I'll need a size smaller in a swimsuit.
