Well my year has got off to a brilliant start! It has been snowing heavily during the night and is still snowing here in Durham. I have driven about a mile and had to turn round. Is your journey really necessary? I kept asking myself. No - Stay safe. o/

I think there will be plenty of empty seats at Siverlink this morning. :tears:

My friend has just been on the phone - they didn't make it either.

Had tickets for the Princes and the Frog for today but the snow and roads are so bad we didn't make it either - wonder if anyone did make it up to Westerhailes for the screening!!
Not worth risking life and limb for a free screening even if it means my score will remain at zero until February.

We are used to snow here in Edinburgh but it has never been so bad for so long - tail backs on the roads everywhere. They say it is the worst for twenty years or more.

Yes Biggins, pretty awful at my bit too and my daugther borrowed my walking boots and my wellies to go up north on monday so have found it very difficult under foot to get aboutas our street is like an ice rink - and I cant skate. Oh well at least the snow scene looks nice form inside.

Hope you have a great holiday when you get away.

TV is pretty awful too, had to do the ironing to amuse myself so things really bad!!

Surrey, near Sutton.

Had a tiny bit of snow this afternoon but it stopped within minutes and is all gone now.
