Fantastic work peeps, Biggins, bet you're feeling great. Preston you're such a great motivator for the exercise. Rawr, Jojo and Clare and anyone else I've missed, hope you're doing well

I've made the celery soup Diane, thanks for the idea, that'll be my lunch tomorrow :p

I've been very bad this weekend and ate out 3 times  so not lost any weight BUT this week will be different 8-)

Todays menu:-

Muesli with lemon and hot water = 300 cals
feta cheese salad with lettuce, pepper, 1 plum tomatoe, spring onions with a sprinkling of chives + WW fromage fraise = 300 cals

chicken stir fry with chesnut mushrooms, spring onions, sugar snap peas with chicken noodles (totally shocked 8O at the colossal 263 cals per 1/2 BAG of noodles, i used 2 bags so thats over 500 cals each in NOODLES  ) = 750 Cals

snacks = carrot, banana, satsuma = 150 cals

thank goodness i've done my exercise DVD today, i'll be hula hooping those calories off too, must change to rice next time o/

That's why I couldn't have them with your Thai Green curry recipe last week - I just thought that I had b*ght the wrong ones and was hoping that I could find some lower calorie ones this week so it looks like it's rice all the way.
Preston1990 wrote:We've seen the "before" photo of you Moonface! - any chance of putting up an "after" shot now you've shed a stone? We could all do a poll to comment on your "hotness". No pressure mind - only if you'd like, of course. ............What?....
:rofl2:
I'm rubbish at finding images - looking for half a Moonface as I'm half way there (one with a pink face to see my hotness)
I go away next Friday I aim to be good when I'm away and have purposely picked an apartment up a hill so its 25 minutes walk down to the town centre and the lovely climb back - a good friend of mine has backed me up on being economical with the truth to OH as he just wants a rest so I will sell it to him re the beautiful views and there is a pool for him (I'm a bit rubbish at swimming so its not much of an exercise for me hence I will be walking - if the pool is not too busy I will try to build up to 10 lengths a day but I'm not promising). Just got to decide when to mention the hill :shifty:

Menu of the day:
Smoothie with Strawberries and bananas (250 calories)
Wholemeal bread garlic sausage salad sandwich with sweet chilli sauce followed by a weight watchers yoghurt (350 calories)
Vegetable curry and wholegrain rice and an apple (400 calories)
Cereal bar as a snack and a slice of wholemeal toast with marmite making up another 200 calories.

Good idea rawr_xoxo and jojojoanne re re assessing menus of the day, I have now worked out why I was hungry last Thursday and Friday in the morning - it was nothing to do with what I was eating it was where I was working being given a constant supply of coffee all morning as we have a room attached to the clinic whereas normally can only have water so it was simply because I was drinking coffee all morning and not my normal litre of water (I do have 2 litres throughout the day)

It will be a 4 mile walk today as I'm working 9.30 until 8 - I will get a couple of hours off late afternoon so will be able to eat then and the night is still young at 8. I especially love walking at that time of the day. :D

What is everyone else up to today?

No exercise whatsoever for me today, alas, as no time round work, but I did what I could yesterday and am aiming for much more tomorrow. Still limited by my cycling-related back problem but yesterday's treatment helped and I'm hoping that my physio appointment on Thursday (so glad I had pre-booked this weeks ago!) will finish the job.

Preston, I love your suggestion of packing a bike in my car and driving to somewhere safer for cycling - though I do try to minimise car use - but I no longer have a bike at present! My old bike moved house with us several times but I was never using it because of the state of the roads and in the end I disposed of it. OH still has his but I'm quite glad he currently doesn't use it locally. Perhaps I will have to get a custom-made version to suit my back and reconsider transporting it...

Whoa so much to catch up on now, I swear the pages of this thread is ticking by faster than a radiation meter near a nuclear plant.

Great stuff guys. Will try to read the past posts later on. In the meantime I feel so motivated by your tremendous vibes to join in clocking in with you guys with my plans for the week. Having completed time consuming client project, I have some more free time to do some more training than I have been able to get in. SO today (leaving in 10mins!) will run 9km from cinema (will see Red lights and Jaws) to local gym (lower body work out). Tomorrow, jog 4km to squash club, play league match then straight after 10 minute upper body workout with stretch bands. Thursday, run from cinema (Moonrise Kingdom) to gym (15 minute core workout). Friday, run from cinema (Snow White) to gym (lower body workout). Saturday, run from cinema to gym (upper body workout). Sunday, cricket match. Monday REST! Tuesday REST (and also eatr anything I like hehe)

I am also getting much more used to eating porridge without even a touch of honey every morning but still yet to dare the Havingascreen challenge of pure scottish oats and water, nothing else...brrrrr!

Keep it going everyone, you're all amazing and I feel very motivated from all of your vibes o/ o/ o/

MrG you seem to be doing a lot of running away from the cinema! :shifty: I want to get some of those stretch bands to take away with me (I know its sad but I want to keep it up when I'm away - I can't just rest for an entire week as 30 mins is about as much resting as I can manage, I have a book to take so maybe able to last an hour) - Is it the Ripcord ones that are the best and which ones would be suitable for me (you know what I look like)?

I'm quite tempted with the bike, I think that we have one still in the garage minus a pedal but I'm sure I can get it sorted. We do have cycle paths near where I live so I've no excuse not to give it a go.

Menu of the day:
Special K and a black coffee (300 calories)
Garlic sausage salad sandwich with sweet chilli sauce followed by a Weight Watchers yoghurt and an apple (400 calories - I use loads of different types of wholemeal bread hence different number of calories)
Whole wheat pasta and weight watchers pasta sauce, green salad, low calorie dressing and melon. (400 calories)
Alpen light cereal bar on my walk.

I've got a completely free evening so I will do my DVD and a walk - can I count ironing as exercise (I will watch the walking DVD at the same time to get tips for my walking technique)

Hope everything goes OK with the physio MsThrifty. Havingascreen do you literally just have water and lemon juice on your muesli? Clarebarr hope you are doing OK on your healthy eating plan and looking forward to hearing from you. Biggins are you still invigilating or are you a free lady this week?

It's weigh-in day for me and Preston1990  Good luck Preston! o/ Well done rawr_xoxo on your weight loss that is amazing - I think I was 13 the last time I weighed 8st 11lb
