I really did feel bad about enjoying this as much as I did. Thomas Haden Church absolutely makes this film. Perfect casting, right there.

Watched this at the EIFF premier last night.

It's an 18 and a very dark and violent "comedy".

Whilst some of it was funny and raised a laugh, it was pretty much too dark and violent for me.

Interesting to see Matthew McConnachey in a completely different type of role.

However, may put you off deep fried chicken for life!!!

That was the second worst film we, as a family, have seen in the last 18 months. The worst being Kill List. Moral of the story, avoid films with 'Kill' in the title.

This one made me laugh... once or twice.

Just watched this at a packed Cheshire Oaks with a mate.

We both loved it.

Very dark, twisted movie with a little comedy for good measure.

I'll never look at KFC in same way again !!!

Perfectly cast too.

We give it a well deserved 8/10

we had 6 walk outs at Whiteleys - all before the worst of it :shifty:
I really enjoyed this, if enjoy is the right word to use. Very dark in tone but vibrant colours lift it a bit. Some really funny lines and a few shocking scenes, which I had to hide from.

Whitelys is the same as ever, too hot too light but, the back 2 rows had so much room, you could really stretch out 8/10
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Loved this. One or two holes - a dead woman whos mouth moves and a driving car who's speedo is reading zero - but if that's the extent of criticism then hey! Definitely dark. Definitely violent. Definitely not for the squeamish. Plenty of claret (as they'd say in Lahndan). One can see how this has evolved from a play, and one can imagine the curtain coming down suddenly at the end of the final act.

Word of advice - don't let your wife pull a bit of fluff off your suit jacket shoulder.

Why was there nobody we knew at the O2 tonight? Why was the balcony half empty? Why was this film so shit? Oh, hang on, that might have something to do with it...

Seriously, that was the worst film I have seen in a very long time. Trailer trash like the family in it. Oh my God, what horrible people. Not one of them was likeable, not even innocent Dottie, who was psychotic in her own way. Everyone was horrible in a different way, and the ending was totally ridiculous. Who dreams shit like this up?

So we have a gangster who makes pleasant chit-chat with his victim before he has him beaten up - is that supposed to be funny? Matthew McConaughey who I cannot stand in his rom-com roles, doesn't endear himself as a psychopath killer either, having an unhealthy obsession with virigins, hitting women in the face and making me look at fried chicken in a whole new light. Honestly, I don't think I can ever eat them again. That scene was beyond disgusting.

Sick.

HA! "We" have been fed KFC crap prior to the screening at the Prince Charles tonight

It was definitely dark, violent and fun (in a very indecent way); the first half dragged a bit too much for me, enjoyed the second half better.

7.5/10
