Re: Weight Watchers
Glad you are feeling better havingascreen.
Start of another week for me so today's menu - Had for breakfast a plate of fruit and fibre cereal with a few chopped strawberries and cup of tea.
Lunch is soup and a yoghurt.
Tonight having grilled gammon steak with baked potato, sweetcorn and baby plum tomatoes. A glass of white wine.
Two crispbreads and cup of tea before bed.
Back on the plenty of water during the day as couldn't do this the last few days at work.
We were going to go to the Royal Highland show at Ingliston today but it will be a mud field with the very heavy rain we have had the last two days and more rain is expected again today. Have got a lot of housework to catch up with so will get my exercise doing that instead.

Re: Weight Watchers
Phew, I've managed to get on here at last - didn't think I was going to be able to make it because the thread was being hogged so badly.
No names no pack drill!
Firstly, glad to hear that you are feeling a little better Havingascreen. Don't overdo it on the old exercise front though - make sure that you take it gently at first.
I'm liking the sound of that Gammon meal Biggins and great to hear that you are back to drinking loads of water. I think that you and I are both going to get some good results weight-wise this week after last weeks rather disappointing events!
LMLD
Todays Meals:
1) Probiotic Drinking yoghurt. Black coffee. (36 cals)
2) Veg curry (400 cals) with peshwari nan (405 cals
- I didn't check this until after I'd had it!!
).
3) Salad leaves, waferthin chicken, crunchy salad vegies, small amount of onion and garlic dip as dressing (500 cals)
4) Earl Grey tea, lemon slice and toast with Ardennes pâté (200 cals)
Exercise:
Could hardly believe that the bike tyres and tubes that I just b*ght on eBay yesterday afternoon arrived by courier at 09:00 this morning
They are now fitted to my latest bike and I'm just waiting for a break in the rain showers to get out and give it a go to see what it's like.

I'm ridiculously excited - it's like being ten years old again!

Re: Weight Watchers
I'm so chuffed that I've been feeling better over the past few days - love it when that happens! Swam 30 lengths on Thursday, 20 lengths yesterday & also had to walk 20-30 mins to the gym cos of the bus strike. (cab home after though as I was too shattered to walk home!!). Have had a break from the exercise today, but boyfriend & I going to a local pool in the morning. Exercise is quite addictive once you start....I can't wait to get back in the pool!! Weighed myself yesterday at the gym, scales say I've put on 1lb. Oh well, hopefully will start losing weight soon if I can keep up this exercise! :)

Wow what a lot of exercise and well done, that's loads for someone who is 100% fit let alone for someone with a medical conditionClareBarr wrote:I'm so chuffed that I've been feeling better over the past few days - love it when that happens! I had a go on my Mum's scales and she was going on that she can eat what she wants and always stays the same weight (her clothes feel tighter)- I too weighed the same and then I was weighing a suitcase and me and the suitcase together weighed the same. Unless I've lost 1 stone 4lb in 3 days I can safely safe that her scales are stuck.
Menu of the day:
2 slices of wholemeal bread toasted with peanut butter (400 calories - I love peanut butter but what a lot of calories
Celery soup and one slice of bread and an apple (200 calories)
Jacket potato, cottage cheese with pear and apple, salad, strawberries and jelly (500 calories as a large potato)
Melon as a snack and one chocolate (100 calories)
This week will be a mishmash of meals as going on my hols on Friday so using up the contents of the fridge so any suggestions as to what I can do with 9 slices of ham, pate, 13 slices of garlic sausage and a cheese and onion quiche would be greatly appreciated - I will get sick of sandwiches 3 times a day.
I will do my exercise DVD sometime today as I have a mad day today but I'm ready and raring to go, going to Stockport (Laura Ashley), then onto Manchester, 3 hours of ironing (got a nice DVD to watch of steve "School for Scoundrels" a black and white film so not as bad as it sounds and I don't mind ironing) a trip to the tip as getting yet another bed on Thursday (need to get saving for new bedding but I will have to make do with my double quilt until I can get my Kingsize bedding - I am not pleading poverty I just spent my free cash elsewhere
Have a good day everyone

Re: Weight Watchers
Thanks Diane :-) yeah it's been a good few days. Ideas for the food in your fridge.....u could have quiche for a packed lunch 2 days in a row - half the quiche each day, with a few slices of ham, & maybe get some lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber for a side salad. Wrap the tomatoes & cucumber in foil in your lunch box so the juices don't make the ham/lettuce soggy. Hope that helps :)

Re: Weight Watchers
Well done, Diane! Sounds like a great workout. I did 30 lengths at the swimming baths with my boyf this morning (the pool is 25metres so that's 750m I swam, woohoo!). Then 15mins walk. Need a snooze for a while now!!

Re: Weight Watchers
After stepping on the scales today im 9st 5 again. Feel so god dam depressed....
I have been indulging in more ice cream than i should be lately, and had a curry and a large chicken dinner this week, and my dad treated my to lunch today even though I said no he persisted, I stood firm at dessert though and he took the hint.
I know its mostly down to not being able to go to the gym, and since I cant run off the treadmill it seems im literally giving up and I hate myself for it.
Im getting ridiculously self concious now and scared that all the weight will come back on.

Re: Weight Watchers
Please don't beat yourself up about it - I'm the worlds worst for too much eating out. It could even be just purely what your body hasn't digested from today or dare I say hormones (that's always the week that my weight loss is minimal), you will soon get back to where you were before. You are so driven that you will do it and you are being a bit too hard on yourself.rawr_xoxo wrote:After stepping on the scales today im 9st 5 again. Feel so god dam depressed....

Re: Weight Watchers
Good morning everyone.
Menu of the day:
Special K and a black coffee (300 calories)
Garlic sausage and salad on a wholemeal roll, weight watchers fromage frais and an apple (350 calories)
Ham and onion omelette, salad, weight watchers strawberry whip and strawberries (400 calories)
Melon and an Alpen low cereal bar (150 calories)
I should add I always have 2 litres of water each day.
After all the sawing yesterday, then my workout DVD plus the ironing I don't feel that my arms belong to me so it will be a 4 mile walk tonight as my arms are having a rest - I can swing them when I'm walking but that's as far as it goes.
What are everyone else's healthy plans for the day?
Enjoy whatever you are doing
