Woah, where is everyone today?

:shifty: :shifty: Errr, is it just me........... or has anyone else noticed that a certain high profile member of this thread seems to spend an unusually high proportion of their time smashing up beds? :shifty: :shifty:

They then transport the resulting debris to the tip, get a fresh one delivered and then blow me if a few weeks later the whole cycle isn't repeating itself! 8O

I am sure, if asked, they would come up with "a perfectly good excuse" ;) ............ but I ask you is that normal behaviour? :nono: :shifty: Just sayin'! .................

:shifty: Hmmm :shifty: .......... There's got to be more to this than meets the eye!

Ahem,.................... Anyhow....Moving swiftly on.......

Don't worry about that temporary setback Rawr. You'll be fine - just continue with all the healthy stuff that you are doing, try and avoid all that bad tempting stuff, and you'll soon be back to normal. o/

ClareBarr - It sounds like you are really setting that pool alight .............Err hang on... No that wouldn't work, would it  .... But you know what I mean - Well done! Tremendous effort o/

Am sure you are all vanishing before our eyes (if we could see you)! I'll add my tuppence worth now and again from now on, but really really well done everyone!

:rofl2:
The truth is that I have just finished my mortgage in March so while I'm used to the money going out I'm replacing all my beds (they are a bit old and this is the last one) month by month and as you've probably guessed I love being on a mission I don't mind what it is whether its making, destroying, recycling, learning, cooking, cleaning basically anything I just love to have a project. I'm sure that there are support groups out there for people like me

I love your menu Preston very impressive o/

Awesom progress everyone. I actually did an unexpected half marathon distance on Sunday as my cricket got cancelled due to the rain lords tipping buckets of water from the sky, so i went to join some friends who were doing the longest park run all day event that i did last year. ran 28 km altogether, 13km running from home to wimbledon and then 3 differrent 5km park runs.

rest day tomorrow and eat anything day, yay!

Thanks Preston 1990, yeah I think the swimming pool staff will soon know me by name :)

Have had a break from the swimming today - I teach on Mondays & Tuesdays, & I have such an active job anyway (teaching classroom music to primary school kids - lots of dancing & actions to music involved), but back to the pool 2mro afternoon.

150 reports done, 60 to go, 3 days til deadline..... :-/

Nite everyone :-)

You are certainly going for it swimming wise and well done with the reports - that must take some doing being diplomatic - My eldest daughter used to get "Claire always has an opinion to offer" which she interpreted as she always got involved but hand on heart I knew that it meant that she was opinionated (she's the female version of OH  )

Menu of the day:
Smoothie with banana and strawberries and a black coffee (150 calories)
Garlic sausage wholemeal salad sandwich, ham salad wholemeal roll, a weight watchers fromage frais, an apple, a cereal bar (720 calories)
I will have other snacks sometime today.
I'm working 9.30am until 7pm but I'm going to a friend who sadly passed away last weekend's funeral at lunchtime so apart from time wise I will be too sad to eat hence will be eating when I have a gap at 5 and then at about 7.30pm

Exercise wise I may just do a 2 mile but will make it up tomorrow.

Lovely to have our supporter Anakin back on board o/

Have fun everyone and eat lots of birthday cake TheyCallMeMrGlass o/

Off for a swim in the outdoor pool. It is actually dry outside today for a change so making the most of the better weather.

Breakfast - bowl of fruit and fibre and a few strawberries and cup of tea.

Lunch -soup and a yoghurt

Tonight - lasagne and salad. A couple of crispbreads and cup of tea before bedtime. Loads of water to drink as must lose some weight this week.

Going to stay the night in a hotel tomorrow night so will need to be careful what I choose on the menu.

:jawdrop:

8O That is so wrong on so many different levels :nono:

Today's Meals:

1) 3 satsumas - Half a litre of chilled tap water (from a refilled Vittel bottle - it kind of makes me feel cheap yet sophisticated ;) )

2) Salad: assorted leaves, celery, grated celariac and carrots, green olives, cherry tomatoes, freshly unpodded peas (my best bargain shop ever!!) see pic - it's a hoot!

I've removed the store location and ID details from the pic to protect the innocent! ;) Image

3) Italian Bean Soup (From the Waitrose "Love Life" range ;) - I kid you not - it must have aphrodisiac properties! :cross: )

4) Ham sandwich with english mustard in brown wholemeal bun.

5) Earl Grey Tea lemon slice and Toast with pâté.

Exercise:

1) 5.75 miles on my second best bike! - 27 mins today!

2) Half an hour on the rowing machine.

Never give in - never give up! :D
