Re: Weight Watchers
That's such a funny conversation in Waitrose, Preston1990 :) thanks re. the swimming.....yeah it's definitely quite addictive! I used to go often like this before my injury (2 years ago). Although back then I used to swim 40 or 50 lengths at a time. I don't want to push it though....20 / 30 lengths still good enough for me at the mo :-)

20/30 lengths is amazing you have made me determined to swim on holiday even though I'm rubbish at it, its breathing technique with meClareBarr wrote:That's such a funny conversation in Waitrose, Preston1990 :) thanks re. the swimming.....yeah it's definitely quite addictive! Menu of the day:
Smoothie with banana and strawberries (250 calories)
Jacobs savours, pate and cucumber followed by a weight watchers fromage frais (300 calories)
Ham salad wholemeal roll and a packet of sweet chilli baked crisps (350 calories - I will be eating in my car as no time hence a no mess type of dinner)
I will have 300 calories more throughout the day or maybe a bowl of cereal when I get in at 10.
No exercise as no time so it will be a rest day. Good luck everyone with the weigh-ins

Re: Weight Watchers
Hello all, been busy with my daughters birthday weekend, lots of cake and sweets floating about and done no exercising. Great to read through all the posts here about all the healthy activities everyone has been doing; Swimming, cycling (did you get out on your bike Preston?), walking, even turbo charged wind surfing. Biggin's you'll have to come down to mine sometime and give me a lesson on how to use those smilies, they're very entertaining.
Amazingly i have actually LOST WEIGHT
I am now under 13 stone (only just but its such a good feeling to have actually lost weight at last
).
Going out socialising this weekend but going to drink vodka tonic as less calories and not have too many lagers (Neu Reekie is on again this weekend Glassy, missed a photo opportunity not catching you Foster's handed
)
Menu today:
country crisp and coffee = 300 cals
tuna salad = 300 cals
pasta with plum toms, rocket, mozarella, olives, chilli and garlic = 600 cals
Healthy snacks = 300 cals worth
Good luck with the weigh ins peeps

WooHoo! Great News Havingascreen - Well done!

I've just got weighed and have lost another 2 lbs this week. I'm chuffed to bits!
Just dashing out now to meet up with my mate for our weekly bike ride. Looks like it could be a really wet one!!

Re: Weight Watchers
Well done Preston and Havingascreen!
I am off to a hotel in the borders to spend the night there. Plenty of temptation - a meal with wine tonight and breakfast tomorrow (probably a buffet breakfast
). will try try to be good. Weather forecast looks bad so will be driving most of the time instead of walking.

Well done Preston1990 and havingascreen that is brilliant
I've lost 3lbs this week so we are all doing good (it should make up for my holiday next week)
Have a fabulous night Biggins its hard to be good at a hotel so just enjoy it or have it as a treat day (my favourite day

Re: Weight Watchers
Thanks guys,
for Preston and
for Diane. You are going to look so hot to trot on that beach Diane, hope you enjoy indulging as you've done so well.
Preston , that's dedication, still going out in this awful weather
Biggin's i'm sure you'll still have a good time despite the rain, going away is a treat in itself.
