i know its beautiful when it first falls. cant wait for the kids come home to build a snowman in the garden

What a beautiful city we woke up to this morning. What a pain that hill to the station is. I've realised there's no other way to get to a station. I could go down a different hill, but obviously that's no better, or walk up a hill to another station... or walk 15 minutes around the problem... sigh...
Nearly turned back today as I didn't fancy my chances. No idea how I made it down that hill. I'd be better off with skis.

I live on a hill aswell, at the first sign of snow last week I went to my parents to stay, I'm still there!! The walk from their house to the station is reasonably flat, although the ice on the pavements is still bad!! I've been wearing my dad wellies to work, 2 pairs of thick socks and I don't notice that there're 3 sizes too big, but they do look a bit strange 8-)

Snow has all but vanished overnight in central London. Can't decide if I'm happy or not... especially given that we have been left with rain...

I'm definitely not happy. But I got a seat on the Jubilee Line so I guess everything has a silver lining!

woke up yesterday, everywhere was white, woke up this morning and everywhere is wet ! At least it is not so cold.

Woke up this morning, everything is still white. Where's the rain? Nothing clears the snow faster than warm rain.
