Morning Diane, i am feeling better today, that tomato soup worked its magic, eating it for lunch as i type, lovely smell of basil in the air.....can you all smell it? My nose is still a bit blocked but i can sure taste it :p

Sending out love to everyone else thats still not well :bighug:

Here's what i've been eating today:

banana and coffee = 130 cals
Tomatoe soup plus 2 slices of bread = 300 cals

gonna have chicken stirfry with noodles for dinner since i've got plenty calories to consume.

Good luck with weigh ins :cross:

Glad you're feeling better, havingascreen .. I can only smell the chicken curry I'm doing for dinner tonite!! But at the weekend, I may be getting a truckload of tomatoes from my Dad who has grown them in abundance, so I could try making some soup with them, although 3 of us here enjoy them not only as part of a meal, but as a healthy snack, so they'll probably be gone sharpish!!

Loving the menus people they sound very healthy and I think that I can smell the tomato soup in Manchester ;) Glad to see you both back on board o/
I have lost another 1lb this week but as I'm going out for meals on Friday and Saturday this week it should equal out. I am so used to eating less that its hard to strike the balance with calories and exercise to maintain - I like doing the exercise so will increase my calories.

Glad to be out of London and out of Blackpool purely because of the prices!
Glad to be back on my regular food, been so bloated over the weekend it has not been comfortable!
I have work tonight(freshers night) and a gig AND club night on friday so Ill be doing plenty of walking to help out.
Ended up being 9st 3lbs which I guess isnt too bad considering I went to Hard Rock, Planet Hollywood and KFC at London alone, not to mention, the yates, bbq grill and chippy at blackpool >.<
Now its just under 2 weeks of good eating before my birthday bashes!
Planning to have a curry on the 30th, with a possible night out(but since its freshers week it doesnt seem likely)
31st MAY be FRankies and Bennys with my dad
The weekend aftr will be TGI FRidays, BUT the good thing is, Ill have access to the uni gym all week, woohoo!
I also have a park at the bottom of my road, and Ive been considering going for a run every morning depending on when my lectures are :)

I am, after all, what you made me.

Preston1990 wrote:Hi everyone - I hope at least some of you are feeling a bit better today.

I got weighed this morning and I've put on four pounds since last week. It's not unexpected and I will try and redouble my efforts to be sensible foodwise for the rest of the week.

Today's Menu:

1) Stonebaked bagel with assorted salad leaves, smoked salmon and tomato. Black coffee.

2) 300 gms of 1.45 fat onion and chive cottage cheese. (210 cals)

3) Fresh salmon steak enrobed in béarnaise and tarragon sauce, new potatoes, green beans.

4) Pot of Earl Grey tea, one slice of toast and honey.

Exercise:

A couple of hours on the bike à la William Knowmaytes. :(

My thanks to the lovely Diane for getting me back on track with the timely tongue lashing! :D

Good Luck for the next 7 days, William Knowmaytes!! We're all willing you on and know you can do it!!

I think you've got it sorted, rawr_xoxo .. you know you have all these dates coming up and intend to thoroughly enjoy eating and drinking whatever you like, which is right!! But you're being sensible in between, so it should all balance out. I reckon, knowing that you're 'being good' most of the time, allows you to feel less guilty when you do go a bit 'mad'!!

Good work Diane o/ its still coming off! i'm sure you'll make your up Preston.

Jojoanne, a truckload of tomatoes, mmmmmm, plum tomatoes are best but try it with big yins and tell me what happens.

Rawr, you can afford a bit of indulgence, its great you have an awareness that your body needs healthy food too and that you actually seem to be looking forward to eating healthy food again, all that comfort eating i did just made me feel worse i think.
