I agree with everything that jojojoanne has said. Your friend hadn't seen you for ages so she got a shock when she seen you as that was not the image she had in her mind. But if she is a good friend then she should have realised that she was upsetting you and kept quiet. If you put the weight back on and then saw her in a few months time she would probably comment that you had looked better thinner!!! Does your family think you are looking better thinner?
As long as you are healthy and not keep loosing more weight then be happy with what you have achieved and make the most of it. Get the lippy and anything else you want - you deserve it. :bighug:

I have lost the 2lbs that I put on last week. :D But I feel I am not really achieving just now as I lose and then gain the same couple of pounds. Mind you all the eating out doesn't help. :red:

Going down to the coast today with hubby so will have a good walk along the seafront. But going for a Tapas lunch (another groupon deal) so will need to walk after that.

Have a good day everyone.

WELL DONE ON THE 2LB LOST, BIGGINS!!!

With regard to losing it, then gaining it, I know how frustrating that can be!! Don't give up the socialising and treats though (I love reading where you go and what you do!!) .. praps just eat REALLY sensibly when you're not doing anything special and you'll probably lose an extra pound!!

Great to hear about your weight loss Biggins. Nice healthy menus on here guys. Diane, get yourself out and get that lippy on, Jojoanne and Biggins are right, she's probably not even realised how she's affected you and you really DO deserve treats after working so hard and for all the motivation you give us on this thread. You go girl :cheer:

i've been eating crisps and sarnies a lot  not weighed myself for a while but my clothes are no tighter so that MUST be a good thing.

Going out tonight, in fact out all weekend but not drinking every night. I will try to be good :A

hope your birthday is enjoyable on Sunday ClaireBarr

Have a good weekend everyone 8-)

So sorry for the short reply before was just about to leave work. Brilliant Biggins you have done so well o/

I really do mean it when I say that you girls are wonderful and I will treat myself. Thank you so much for all your support and I'm normally quite resilient when it comes to personal attacks on me and it takes a heck of a lot to offend me but this time it got to me as it was a good friend and she wouldn't let it drop.

Just off to get my train so I will be home late tomorrow evening. Have fun everyone o/

Must add a family bag of Galaxy Counters to my days menu (that's between me and DD.)

I'm pretty much back on track with the healthy eating thing for the last couple of days now after all the good advice from this forum. :D

Also....Biking pal back from his hols now - so planning to meet up for a longish bike ride for one day next week o/

Was sad to read Diane's upsetting tale - but pleased to see all the support she got from everyone here. I'm meeting up with her tomorrow, hopefully for cake :shifty: No....no .....really it's allowed .....it's our combined treat day!! Woohoo!

Just to say Diane65 that you must be noble and ignore your friend. Can I be presumptuous and say that she just might be jealous of what you have accomplished.

Hoping that Diane and Preston meet up for a much deserved slice of cake tomorrow -- make them both large please!

I'm presuming you mean make the slices of cake large and not make Diane and Preston large!!!

Oh yes! Poor word order on my part. Make the cake size generous as Diane and Preston deserve the treat.
