Saw some frost on the garage roof when I looked outside this morning...brr was very cold last night!!!

I jolly well hope it doesn't! Spare a thought for people who still have to get around in it and don't enjoy dicing with death in the small hours on icy, ungritted roads! But with any luck it will have gone by tomorrow morning...

It was bitterly cold last night and on our way home from Tony @ Empire, we even saw some puddles starting to ice over, so it's no surprise to me that it snowed last night. Thankfully the sun is slowly melting the small amount that has settled locally. I hope it doesn't cause too much disruption for those out and about this weekend :p

Oh i know exactly what you mean, we got a couple of inches here during the night, not leaving the house today...hopefully it will melt by tomorrow as my son has a football match! and dont want to stand on a snow covered field, let alone have to try and drive the 15 miles to get there! :(

It would be so helpful if, when it's going to snow, the forecasters would mention it! Today, for the 2nd time in 3 days, I have woken to snowfall which was still not mentioned on the online forecast which I later checked - and not even on the broadcast version which I subsequently watched. Honestly, we'd all be better off simply looking out of the window! So I had a horrible drive to work, but when I got within a mile or two of my office, no more snow, so it must have fallen in a band across the south. At least it should be gone by lunchtime and we can then look forward (!) to several days of mild, wet weather...

The snow has made it back to Leeds, I know this because I can see it falling. ;) Lets hope it doesn't settle.

It has snowed today here in Durham, but mercifully it has not stayed! I have just posted thermals to my son, which I'm sure will be very welcome, haha! :D

I too woke up to snow this morning, was falling quite heavily but fortunately has stopped. Still on the pavement at mine and looks to be icing up. Just as well I b*ght more de-icer when I saw it yesterday o/
