How: In-store at a range of supermarkets.

What do I get? We've had reports of 1p and 2p bargains in-store at a range of supermarkets, including Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda.

The supermarkets haven't confirmed this with us yet, but people have said it's working for them. This really is a trial and error deal, but is great if you can find them. Report your 1p and 2p finds and view others.


Asda:

We know it's not like us to lead with the most expensive items (after all, it's double the price!) but hopefully you'll let us off as the best bargains can be found at Asda.
2p L'Oreal Dermo Expertise Collagen Micro Vibration eye cream (£10 elsewhere!)
2p Mandeville lined notebook (usually around £2)
2p Oral B complete clean toothbrush and toothpaste (usually around £1.50)
2p Silvikrin maximum hold and shine hairspray 400ml (usually around £3)

Other supermarkets:
Sainsbury's - 1p birthday packs incl balloons & banners (usually around £1)
Tesco - 1p paper bowls (usually £1)
Morrisons - 1p party poppers (usually around £1)
Morrisions - 1p birthday candle holders (usually around 70p)


The detail: In Sainsbury's the bargains seem to be in the party section, while in Asda it's beauty. Although, that's just what MoneySavers have found so far - there could be a whole lot more out there. Look out for the 1p price stickers in-store.

Urgent. Holiday Autos £15 off code

Car hire firm Holiday Autos* is giving £15 off worldwide five-day hires between Wednesday 3 and Friday 5 October for rentals until 16 December 2012.

There's no minimum spend, though you do need to book for a minimum of five days. Any extras you order won't be discounted.

Holiday Autos says the code is valid on 99% of car types, but in a few destinations its suppliers are not able to discount certain models. When you enter the code, it will show if it's not valid.
