What a waste. I was never excited about this in the first place but I still had this hope it would surprise me. Guess what? It didn't. 90 mins I can never have back.

I am disappointed to hear the dire reviews, haven't had the chance to see it yet but was looking forward to it as I liked the first Taken. Think I will still try to catch it and leave my high expectations aside.

Bad news for those who have seen it and know how dire it was. Apparently due to a very good opening weekend there is now plans afoot for Taken 3;

Finally got to see this tonight. It actually wasn't that bad a film, but as I was watching it I kept getting the feeling that something was missing. I think that what it suffers from is the lack of 'gritty action' that made the first film so good. Many of the scenes are dumbed down to suit the 12A rating which is a shame. Also some scenes seem to have been edited badly leading to the plot going nowhere in places. Liam Neeson is a fantastic actor and he deserved a much better film. All said, its an OK film.

Saw this at Bournemouth Odeon using my Groupon vouchers.Liked the first film and also liked this one,yes it was the same old"you are going to be taken"plot.Plenty of action,lots of fights and a car chase thrown in thats my type of film a very enjoyable evening out.

    This crap is still on 2 screens at my local! Get this film out and get something better in please. This would be called bed blocking in a hospital (if the movie was a patient, humm).

    its on screen 2, the IMAX screen, at Kingston, if anyone wants a near IMAX screening of this movie for a normal ticket price.

    I've heard great things about this...entertaining throughout though a little tedious especially when taking into account the monotony of the 1st and sequels clearly evident plots. Anyone else thinking Neeson should probably try and venture into more risque character roles? instead of sticking with the very samey 'hard silent type' that he has mastered in taken/unknown/the grey??
