I found The Amazing Spider-Man slow and boring... maybe I should try it again. It had good reviews, right? It just doesn't feel the same...
Wait a second. You liked Spider-Man 3 and found the reboot slow and boring?

Haha!
I still want to try to watch it!! But it's rare for me to be that excited by an action movie, and Spider-Man & I have a history (i.e. when my brother brought back X-Men and Spider-Man Comics from the States about 20 years ago) so it's gonna be hard to like it...

Like yourself, I grew up religiously on Spider-Man comic-books from the early 80s (yes, I'm old) and the Spider-Man origin story has therefore been etched to stylistic perfection in my mind...and no "visionary" director will ever be able to measure up. Even the original X-Men movie was lacking, but the sequel thankfully managed to tick all the right boxes for me.

So there's still hope for the SM franchise. :-)
