Yeah, agreed, would be great if there was a way to integrate ratings with the forum but I've looked into it a few times and there's nothing I know of.

The front-site link posts used to remind people they could rate the film though :)

There's really no way to include the cumulative rating of a film (i.e. in Film Discussion) in the title bar? A dynamic display along the lines of threads with polls?

There might have been a thread rating forum mod I saw a long time ago, but the problem there is that it would apply to every thread, not just the films.

Sorry doesn't help the front site, but could we add a poll to each film thread with 5 or 10 options so people could easily see what the score is for each film?

But you can't have numeric scores, they mean different things to different people. Some rating suggestions:

I'd rather eat my own fist
Wait for it to come on TV
Wait for the DVD
Worth waiting in line
Worth going to the Crapadero (or whichever your local fleapit is)
Worth getting up early on a Sunday
Worth using a voucher which is not just about to expire
Worth p*ying for 8O
Preferred Cinemas :
Richmond, Kingston, West End, Wimbledon, Shepherds Bush, Clapham, Westfield, Fulham

That would work.

I was thinking something simple where each option is just a number 'five' 'four' 'three' etc, but I like your idea as well.

Have you been burning the midnight oil again? The design looks good but most links point to the same page that needs updating, and the past previews archives somehow stops in March 2013 which gives the impression we never saw any films after that.

Yeah, I need to tweak things, just wondered what you think of the new theme!

I've put a bit of explanatory text above the past screenings, I think it's unfortunately too cumbersome to update.

What could work nicely instead, I'd love to feature some Top 10 free movies of the years in between (i.e. '13, '14, '15) which would double as testimonials. Next to each film on the list, two or three lines which could be from the user's original Film Discussion post. Where they saw it, how they had a great time, how far ahead of release they saw it if significant, and "Jennifer Lawrence was amazing", "I should've brought tissues!" etc

At the top or bottom it would say, for example, "Beate (London), 5000 free films seen in 2014".

What do you think?

Gonna update the How? page now. Some of the links on the page are filler. I'll probably have everything but Member Blogs on the one page and the links will scroll you down to the relevant point.
