Perfect weather for porridge, but I have college today so will have to make do with sandwiches instead. Frustrating that their canteen serves nothing healthy. Just like cinema refreshments, really!

Just copied your idea and having porridge for breakfast as we speak (300 calories)
Ham salad roll, banana and a weight watchers fromage frais (450 calories)
Weight Watchers sweet and sour chicken (300 calories) weight watchers strawberry mousse, 2 kiwis (100 calories)
Cadburys options (50 calories)

Might not have time for exercise as working late tonight but I will make up for it at the weekend.

Good luck everyone else today and looking forward to reading your posts o/

Well done on the weight loss 5 lbs is a great deal of weight.

As regards the extra calories, I think you are given more by the site, if you are male. ?? Also for any exercise activity that you carry out.

Yes, I put down all my drinks...and it is amazing how they mount up.

I know I have said before, but I do think, finding out your calorie intake for the day, focuses your mind.

As regards having Calories over at the end of the Day. I don't mind that as, if having a Jacket Potato etc, I don't really weigh...nor do I weigh out Oats for Porridge. Think it is about portion control, and we all know a large portion of food.

I think that the spare calories are used up this way. Just my view.

My friend is also female but taller than me so maybe that's why, she also has a lot more weight to lose than me.

I've decided to up the calories it has given me from 1200 to 1500, I don't think 1200 is achievable long term, it still forecasts a 1/2 loss per week which is fine with me, as long as it's going down not up! Will just make sure I eat healthy and exercise. I also read that my BMR is more than the calorie allowance given which is not healthy and can lead to body going into starvation mode and not aiding weightloss at all. I found a really good post last night about it last night but can't seem to find it this morning.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

You might lose more than the half lb. I always find with diets it takes a couple of weeks to kick in.
