My breakfasts and lunches have been good but as for the evening meals out![]()
I devoured a goats cheese, rocket and red onion pizza at Steve's birthday bash and had the customary slice of garlic bread both which were lovely I did do a 4 mile walk on Thursday so should even out
but then last night I went out with my friend's from school (we still go around together even though we left 32 years ago
) and they are also watching their weight but they decided it would be a treat day so we had a steak ciabatta, chips and coleslaw followed by a sticky toffee pudding with custard which I would be about 1500 calories just for the meal but I did do an hours walk but I still think/know that I ate way too much

I think that I have become addicted to MsThrifty's smoothies as just waiting for my raspberries to defrost for my morning smoothie of 300 calories.
Carrot and parsnip soup (frozen from Christmas day) with a cheese and onion bagel (400 calories) followed by a kiwi
Chicken tikka good for you range (450 calories) and another kiwi. I was supposed to make havingascreen's curry but these were on offer for a fab price (I do like a bargain) so I will be making hers next weekend as I do like cooking and it sounds delicious![]()
I want to do a walk today but depending on how slippery it is it might be the DVD which I know that I should do really to alternate otherwise I'll have a healthy heart but be untoned (not that I am toned but that's my thinking).
Let's keep posting. I hope that Biggins is having a fabulous time and she is a driven lady so will be back on here in no time
Hi Diane, I recently b*ght a freezer and regularly stock up on berry fruits to chuck into my hot porridge or make a smoothie.
I normally make smoothies with thawed fruits but thought I would experiment with frozen berries. I was pleasantly surprised that, after mixing with carton juices, it was still quite thick and actually tasted a little like a slush puppy. If you don't like seeds then pour through a strainer.
