Sorry to hear about your accident and I hope you are mending well :cross:

I had a fall on a shop's wet floor in mid December, I fractured my right wrist and damaged my knees etc. which made walking very painful and very difficult.
I missed my works Christmas party and my social life has been very limited since :tears:
Still, worse things happen so I will stop moaning now :Embarrassed:

Take care Ms T

I'm really sorry to hear that, June, but hope you are on the mend now. I thought you hadn't been here much but assumed you were busy with work. And it's hardly moaning to mention the undoubted pain and inconvenience! Are you right-handed? And is the shop taking your accident seriously?

Yes, I'm right handed but I'm getting on reasonably well with my left hand o/ It's frustrating and time consuming with hospital visits etc. but I'm sure I will survive.
Shop have not been in contact and they informed me that there is no video footage available in the shop, very annoying as I clearly and animatedly complained about the wet floor to a staff member after I slipped on it!

Oh and conveniently for the shop, the member of staff does not appear to work there any more

recovering (in the office) from the most exhausting few days ever. My wife has been at an off-site in Paris and I've had our daughter on my own and she really let me suffer yesterday.

She's in nursery today so I can relax.

LOL the joys of having kids! Mine are teenagers now but my nephew is a toddler and a handful!! The only time to relax is at work or when the kid sleeps!! :snooze:

Sorry to hear that misfortune has made a visit to the members of the forum. I hope that everyone recovers soon.
On a different note, apart from reading the the different forums, I am washing clothes, eating the remains of last night curry and sorting my tv viewing for tonight as its just me :crying: . The crying is for the scrum 5 program on how Wales will probably lose everything this year

So sorry to hear about your accident June, I had no idea and just assumed that you were busy with other things. Hope that you are soon getting back to normal and of course to MsThrifty too.
Baty I think that you should change channels and as you have the evening to yourself do something very indulgent as you are always looking out for other people.

Hope you are soon fully recovered, June. I would say you are perfectly entitled to a massive moan about your fall so do not apologise! Best wishes to you.

Well Diane, my indulgence was an early night.
Today was a mad cooking session with a 3 yr old intersperced with the rugby, Wales lost as predicted. Now watching DR Who with a cheese sandwich and a drink possibly classified as alcoholic. Debating wether to turn on main computer and do fancy all singing/dancing class stuff for the Smartboards.....(secretly,I love making stuff)
oh dear just saw Kevin Bacon talking about Tremors and now I'm looking on youtube for it ... so sad

Working on my laptop (on a non brain requiring activity) while watching/listening to 'A Short Stay in Switzerland'. Does anyone else do that or is it just me? Anyway, a powerful performance by Julie Walters.
