I agree with TheDude. The show is entertaining and every act is different and can surprise you. Highly recommended!

yes it wasnt bad at all, it was inventive and good, which I wrote in my full review as opposed to the three word precis I wrote later, but I did think facets of the show like the ball tossing upteenth times got repetitive sometimes. I wouldnt go back to see the same show again, but I'd see a different setup if they did one.

thanks to Livi92 for the tickets.
this site's members are wondeful!
both the nephew and i loved it. loud noise and technical wizardy. it reminded me of going clubbing. i thought it was very clever and i will be recommending it to friends (especially those with teenage kids). I was disappointed it was only an hour.
there was a bit in the middle when they seem to ask the audience a question
'are you having fun?'
and i wondered if in a different country they might be greeted with a roar of approval. during my showing there was silence.

My review of the quite lovely 'Woody Sez' at Fairfield Halls. If I go to Croydon to see something it better be great - and this was. A pleasant surprise and a great way to spend an afternoon.

I don't think anyone would go to Croydon for the ambience, scenery, etc; only for functional reasons like work, shopping, entertainment. But it remains a good location for the latter even after the recent demise of both the independent cinema and theatre: Fairfield Halls (concert hall, theatre, cinema etc) and multiplex cinema within a 5-minute walk of the main station (short journey from central London, too, for those who do want to venture south); trams and buses on the doorstep and plenty of restaurants for eating out. You just have to wrap up for the wind-tunnel effect!mrflunchy wrote:My review of the quite lovely 'Woody Sez' at Fairfield Halls.
