Took the family to Siro A last night, all really enjoyed it, the music wasn't half as bad or loud as I expected & appreciated the way one of the performers came out & mingled with the audience & posed for photo's in his costume before the show.
Only downside is that the seating is not tiered or the stage raised a bit more as we struggled to see some of what was happening at the bottom of the stage, not a major problem & didn't really detract from the show.
I hope ticket sales pick up, its a great show, just seems nobody knows about.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Thank you Rainey for sharing your thoughts about Siro A. I'm hoping to convince OH to go and see it this evening.

Managed to catch A Chorus Line at the Palladium last night thanks to a competition win - loved it! Despite being two hours long with no interval it felt rather short because I really got into it. There were actually a few characters I wish we'd seen more of (even if it meant the show would be longer). Loved the choreography of the chorus line numbers (of course) and the songs were very good and catchy. Only minor disappointment, and I can't believe I'm saying this, was Scarlett Strallen. She's usually very good but I think she was a bit too sweet/British and her voice didn't suit the role of Cassie, they needed someone a little tougher. The other cast was fantastic though, particularly Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as Diana (what a voice!), Simon Hardwick as Al (he and his "wife" stole the show during Sing) and Adam Salter as Mike (he has a phenomenal dance solo). Also really liked John Partridge as Zach though it was a shame he wasn't on stage more (which I suppose I can understand from the story's POV). 8.5/10

Went to see Elvis - The Ultimate show last night in Watford. The show was fabulous, great songs and Chris Connor is a great Elvis.
Shame that the audience did not participate as much as they should have.
This will be on at the Palladium shortly, I highly recommend the show. Great evening.
Thanks again to Rainey for the tickets.

I don't ever recall shows coming up in Watford before, so I hope there are more, though I'd probably also have limited opportunities actually to attend. They'd better not offer free theatre tix for the show I've pa*d to see there, though!

I'm hoping they offer Ben & Holly over the weekend as there are lots of tickets still available, but those type of shows don't normally come up.
