Re: Weight Watchers
This is really interesting as I always go to bed at 10.30 - 11.00 in the week and an hour later at weekends then get up at 6 - 6.30 in the week and an hour later at weekends. I just wake up when I've had enough sleep but do feel at sixes and sevens if I go to bed too late or stay in bed too late and then head for the sweets. I don't do lie ins as I feel a bit off all day if I do - I don't mean ill.valda wrote:hello everyoneI'm going to post my little diary of my cognitive behaviour therapy in here if no one minds. At least I'll know someone will see it.
So I b*ght a couple of sessions with Hypnotherapy to try and sort out my sleep problems. I went on SAturday and basically I have to go to bed and get up at the same time everyday'How Can I see Films, Watch TV? NO Lie ins?' This is the only thing I've not tried, for sleep disorders. She wanted me to go to bed at 9pm and get up at 7am. I've negotiated for a 10pm bedtime

Doing this will set my inner clock to how a normal person's works hopefully.
Saturday I was supposed to go out for drinks, didn't, went to bed at 10pm
Sunday woke up early and turned round and went straight back to sleep. Got up about 12.30pm![]()
This failure set me off on a binge, so I ate a massive bag of chocolate peanuts, a big bag of fruit pastilles, A strawberry milkshake and a fried egg with 'Free From bread'
Went to bed at 9.30 but didn't read much, no cigarettes, and an audiobook sent me off to sleep.
Keep posting Valda as its really interesting especially if you manage to break the cycle.

Valda, although I have not been on here for a long while I've really been impressed with your facebook diary and combat sessions. I have no doubt you would floor me in a tackle purely from having better coordination...something I still have to improve on. There is a real vigour to your pursuit, its awesome. Keep this up Valda

Re: Weight Watchers
goodness, Diane, you're not kidding about the numerous new folks on here! Welcome newbies, a pleasure to meet you guys and well done for being part of this awesome thread. I see some of you giving your diaries, that is just awesome, applying that good pressure on yourselves by letting others know what your are doing helps to keep your self on track, it works wonders. You only have to look at people such as Diane and Preston (is he around? Or has taken a MrG style break? :) ), to see how successful that is.
But most importantly, set your goals. Its all very well gaining the knowledge of whats healthy for you but with the drive towards goals, its hard to keep on track. So do set your goals and make it a daily mantra.
My Intermediate goal is to move into Division 2 on my squash league. To do this, I must do 4 drills a week complemented with my usuall running and gym. Ultimate goal for this year: reach 10% body fat and win the South London squash league. Odds are very much against me...but its not impossible and if there is even 1% opportunity...I will pursue it. I am at 16.5% right now so need to get back to being strict with my carb intake.
Oh couple of little achievements I have made in the last month (one of the reasons for my absence as I have been undertaking so much pursuits recently). I have qualified as a Squash Coach, first aider (admittedly should have done this year ago), regained my REP in personal training and moved up into Div 3 of my squash league.
As well as your weekly eat what you like reward (or cheat day), when you reach a major landmark, always reward yourself with a bigger gift because you bloody deserve it guys. I think I did work hard in the last few months so I rewarded myself with a life long desire...a telescope! :)

Well done on becoming a squash coach, first aider and athletic body (which you already have) and how fab b*ying a telescope - I take it that you too find Brian Cox a bit of a hunk
I'm not one to gossip but there is someone on the pancake thread pretending to be you talking of pancakes with sugar and honey
Where is Biggins? Since she has won the hamper there hasn't been any sign of her on here?

Re: Weight Watchers
Rest day yesterday, back on with it today! Not sure if I should go to the work gym as I'm doing extra hours today or just do some Tiffany when I get home. I am so tired but maybe some gym work will perk me up? At least I'll have a good breakfast today as I'm in late :)

Biggins was doing really well! If that evil hamper has captured, we might need a rescue squad!
Brian Cox has brought astronomy to the masses just as JK Rowling has done for children's reading. He is an amazing communicator, and yeah, annoyingly so good looking...but not enough to make me question my orientation

You're giving your age away now MrGTheyCallMeMrGlass wrote:Hello Moggers :) NIce scheduleThere's that name Tiffany, again...driving me nuts, who is she? Surely not the "I think I'm alone now" girl....must investigate!
You might prefer our latest Tiffany to Brian Cox in the looks department

Re: Weight Watchers
I am still around only lurking - I don't do all the dvd exercises the young ones do. Lost another pound this past week - walking along the beach front at Portobello on Saturday when I was down there b*ying fish. Still swimming in the outdoor pool.
Busy this week working full time at the University so not had much time to look on this forum. Hamper still intact - apart from the bottle of wine!!!
