@Beate: At least you weren't sitting next to someone who smelt like garbage. The 97 minute runtime became more appealing by the second.

Speaking of goofs, how the heck
did they both break free of their cuffs at the same time?
Did I miss something? Was only one of 'em cuffed? If so, WHY??
Ha ha - I have no idea. I didn't even concentrate on the finer plot holes. You can't really expect a film like that to make much sense.

Back from a pretty full Showcase Glasgow (well a couple of rows in the very front were emptyish) Went with Teddybear1. Saw Deb1 and OH, my friend and her OH, McG and friend and Stuartboy.

Well the only common link to the rest of the Die Hard franchise is John McClane and even then I felt Willis was nothing more than a comedy sidekick to Jack. Yes there is action, a decent car chase but none of the baddies had any depth to them like Alan Rickman's Hans Gruber. There were pretty much one dimension. Even the twist was not that great. Glad it was 30 minutes shorter than the rest of them. Probably cos they either ran of budget or they had nothing more left to give. 5/10

Were all the seats actually taken? There are usually a few in the balcony that people avoid, so I was slightly irritated to be turned away.

Managed to get a decent view downstairs, the trick is to go on your own or split up!

Fairly brainless viewing, which was about right at this point in the week and especially after Cloud Atlas. I don't recall the earlier Die Hards being this cheesy though? It was okay, but probably not worth p*ying for (or using up a voucher on).

Nice to bump into Livi92 - I never run unto FMUKers normally! o/

Only half full at nottingham, presumably due to combination of snow + footy.

Never has being stuck in a snow drift, listening to man utd on the radio seemed so appealing.

also, was that zangief from street fighter 2 making a cameo as a henchman?

It was just about 100% full from what I could see but there was one seat that rawsalsa took (quite late in the day) then she moved to the previously empty but apparently reserved seat next to ZoeBanfield so you could have sat there but the ushers probably didn't know about it as it appeared to be taken.

Die Hard... you are officially dead to me.

I will never pour scorn on Live Free Or Die Hard as it is no longer the worst of the bunch.

To think, they've green lit a 6th movie? I shudder!
