Well done Moggers that is brilliantmoggers wrote:Well it's monday! How is everyone this morning? I've done my kinect workout for the day and doing well with my calories so far. Special K with skimmed milk for breakfast, oatcakes and organic no added sugar peanut butter for lunch, sakata cheese rice crisps for a snack and lots of water. Not sure what to make for dinner though, I have lean steak mince so thinking mince/pea and chickpea curry or chilli con carne with loads of mixed peppers.

Went with the chilli! Good plan Diane, DD's school run is 2 miles all up so that twice a day adds up for my lazy days lol.

Hey thats great Diane ! I'm really glad that you actually make the recipes :) Makes taking the time to write it up all worthwhile ! Which recipe did you make ? the one i posted recently or the one from before? and more importantly how was it ??? :)Diane65 wrote:Probably anything and everything![]()
foreign calories don't count. (I class it as a holiday if I travel more than 50 miles from home)
Just made a massive moviemann's chicken curry so I can have a portion tonight and freeze the rest so that I have a healthy meal ready for when I return from my holidays
And where are you off to for your holidays you lucky girl ?!!

I've actually remade the chicken curry but have b*ght some Quorn to use as a replacement in the fish curry. Its brilliant now that I have all the ingredients to hand and I will never go back to using the ready made pastes any more. DD who doesn't usually do spicy food is really enjoying them. Indian food has always been a favourite with me and now that I have the true authentic recipes you have made me one happy lady.moviemannn wrote:Hey thats great Diane ! Re: Weight Watchers
Just had a smoothie with strawberries, a banana and milk. On a course today where lunch is provided but will try to be healthy
Last time I went on one there were 3 tiers of menus
1)Consultants and Doctors - selection of cooked meals and fresh fruit
2)Clerical staff - A lovely array of sandwiches and a selection of desserts.
3)Clinicians (us the lowest of the low) - a Klix vending machine where we could p*rchase coffee and sandwiches
It was pretty humiliating as we were all in the same building and could see what the others were provided with.

Re: Weight Watchers
That is rubbish Diane, I hope you get something decent for lunch! I missed out on the big celebration lunch for our department yesterday as I don't work Mon/Tues, then again I wouldn't have had such a good day on the calories if I had gone lol.Diane65 wrote:Just had a smoothie with strawberries, a banana and milk. So much for 'we're all in this together', Diane. That is awful and I hope that everyone in groups 1 and 2 were suitably embarrassed.

Re: Weight Watchers
Thanks girls we actually did see the funny side to it as the Doctors etc were so embarrassed it was untrue as we decided to sit with them with our plastic cups of coffee and sandwiches out of the machine.
Today they had forgotten to provide our lunch
but I will give our immediate managers their due as they walked over to Sainsburys and out of their own pockets b*ght us sandwiches, drinks, cakes and fruit so fair play to them.
The course went on for a lot longer than anticipated so got in fairly late but the last 2 speakers were really interesting so it was worth it hence no exercise today

Re: Weight Watchers
Work gym today, I'll see how I go as I've been on the Kinect two days. I have training on Friday so no gym meh but will get lunch and morning tea. Work is fairly stressful at the moment so trying to be good and not reach for sweets to get me through
