Iron Man 3
Re: Iron Man 3
I don't believe it - he's watching the dark knight rises on the smallest ever screen! What a waste!!!!

Re: Iron Man 3
Iron Man 3 is terrible so far. Just Tony Stark walking around signing things! Where's the action!?

It's a poor film, however, make sure you guys stay and watch after the end credits. A certain Dr appears, in a not so good scene.

Just back from didsbury - enjoyed the movie kids loved it even if my 5 year old was nodding in the middle - few sweets gave energy.
Great action sequences and some humor - overall 7.5/10

Re: Iron Man 3
I thought it was outstanding. Certainly the best Marvel film to date. Ben Kingsley was amazing.

Re: Iron Man 3
Boo - we were extra early to be told balcony is for VIPs (comp winners) only! I had been offered comp tickets by PXC and decided to use my own Sky tickets instead, more fool me!
Arrived to a queue downstairs - can't believe I had to queue up with the normal people. Tsss. Got excellent seats though plus some very snazzy but uncomfortable Iron Man 3D Glasses - luckily I always carry my own with me. We saw a handful of FMUKers and watched in awe how the cinema filled up - by 6.30pm only the first few rows still had seats. Then the test card appeared accompanied by a terrible loud screeching sound - we were all sticking our fingers in our ears! We were allowed to have our phones out until the screening started at 7.30pm though the security guy next to us with his night vision goggles wasn't very attentive and at one point blinded us with his green light!
The film - man, the film was excellent - everything any other action film aspires to be but can only dream of. Thoroughly enjoyable, almost non-stop action interspersed with a lot of humour. Brilliant acting from all parties expecially Downey Jr of course and Sir Ben Kingsley - oh man, he had me in stitches! The kid was cute too.
I spotted one error though - when Don Cheadle wants a suit from Stark, he tells him they are all coded to him only, yet he gave one to Pepper earlier?
I have got to go and google whether Jarvis the robot voice is indeed Paul Bettany - it sounded uncanningly like him.
Edit: Yes, he is!
9.5/10
P.S. Why was Stanley Tucci on the red carpet but not in the film? I was getting all excited seeing him!

The whole cinema burst out laughing when Guy Pearce said "I hear he was celebrated as Hamlet in Croydon - wherever that is."

Re: Iron Man 3
Did anyone spot Stan Lee? He was
one of the judges at the pageant and held up a scoreboard
and was on screen for just one second. A true blink and you've missed him situation. He's looking really old now.
I liked the scene after the end credits, tied off the movie nicely.
