Good film worth a watch 9/10. And I managed to get tickets thanks to the lovely and kind ppl off here who had spare tickets! Thank u!

It was lovely to finally meet you and your OH, I too really enjoyed the film and a fabulous atmosphere 9/10

My friend took my son tonight as I couldn't get out of work, they absolutely loved it!

He was disappointed he didn't manage to get any of the Iron Man 3 glasses though, but will still be the envy of his school mates for seeing it early.

He can have mine if he wants a pair to keep. Should I bring them to FMUKON and who shall I give them to?

Thought it was terribly weak film. Far too much humour, not enough action. The first action piece happens nearly an hour in, the finale is rather average and ripped straight from Lethal Weapon (I know Shane Black did those). It felt like it was a stand-up comedy show by Tony Stark the amount of sarcasm and humour in it.

All in all a wasted opportunity to round off the franchsie nicely, personally for me the weakest of the trilogy and a huge letdown. This film will not stand the test of time.

Am I the only one who didn't think this was amazing? It wasn't awful but I thought it had a terribly slow start and I only really loved the scenes with the kid and with "Trevor" (both were hilarious). It did get more exciting towards the end but that was a little too late for me. The after credit scene (which took forever to start) was also a bit dull. 6.5/10

Highlight for me was the Tony Stark 3D glasses I got at the premiere

[spoiler]Yes he's in the pilot...you never actually see him "dead" in the avengers[/spoiler]

I didn't have high expectations for this, and as a result I liked it far more than I expected to. It is a significant improvement on Iron Man 2.

It was not as fun as Avengers Assemble but I especially liked the comedic factor, some very well delivered one-liners that didn't detract from the human drama. It had some good action sequences, but I was not particularly wowed by the 3D and the villain was quite weak, but it was still a highly entertaining film. 8/10.

Those special Iron Man 3D glasses were bloody uncomfortable, they kept sliding off my nose every few minutes.

Agreed! We went and got the normal 3d glasses before the film started as I didn't want to spend most of the film pushing them back up.

As was already mentioned the only thing to really spoil it for me was the need for people to be rustling noisey bags of popcorn and stuff. The wife even turned round and snapped at the people behind us at one point as their 9 year old son (yes 9 years old!) was just continually making noise with his popcorn bag. In one particular scene [spoiler]when the iron man suit attacks pepper potts in bed[/spoiler] it sounded like the 9 year old son was going to hyperventilate from the shock! I might be old fashioned but I don't think this was a particularlly suitable film to bring a 9 year old too.
