Re: Weight Watchers
Very brief menu of the day as running late
Milkshake with raspberries and a banana (300 calories)
Peanut butter on a Warburton's thin followed by a yoghurt (260 calories)
Vegetable chilli made with butternut squash, swede, green beans, chilli, garlic, tinned tomatoes and kidney beans - I'll just have it as it is as its so filling (400 calories) Made far too much so will be freezing loads and taking some to work for my friend who is also eating like a vegetarian for a week. This stems from last week in Italy when apart from the wonderful Italian meats for breakfast we didn't eat meat and it was wonderful to taste the fresh vegetables as they are and not be overshadowed by the meat. We are also doing no unhealthy snacks and drinking lots of water.
What's everyone else eating today? Moggers I got the hummus so will be having that tomorrow and thanks so much.
I can't recommend enough Moviemann's Insanity nutrition plan, it is good wholesome food and no fad diets etc

Re: Weight Watchers
The closer I'm getting to my goal, the slower the weight is coming off. I know in my head that I'm storing extra water at the moment and by weigh in day on sunday I'll have my 2lb loss (I officially weigh in every 2 weeks, just keep an eye on the changes) but just want to eat sweet things lol.
Still a bit sore from sunday but now signed up for next year and I'll do c25k before it so I can run all the way.Today I'll be walking the school run and a mini work out (mostly upper body today I think!) on the kinect or a couple of Tiffany ones. Tomorrow will be work gym where we now have a vibro plate so I'll jump on that every day for 10 mins for some toning too. Only 4.5 weeks until I go on holiday eek!!
Diane, your chilli sounds lovely, I do love spicy food. You'll love the wee tubs of homous, but do look up tabouli :) The weight watchers pitta breads are ok but need to be slightly toasted as they are a bit crumbly if you need a wee bit of bread.
Moviemann I'll pm you my email for the insanity plan as I'll be needing it after 3 weeks holiday!!
John Milton, are you competing at the event you posted in free days out? My husband quite fancied coming along and having a look.
How is everyone else getting on? Keep posting and we can do this together!!

Re: Weight Watchers
Moggers, I really wish you could have seen how much my OH laughed at that!
No, I'm nowhere near the level of the guys who'll be competing on Sunday. I'm very much a recreational lifter rather than competitive. Should be a great day out though!
Does your husband lift?

Re: Weight Watchers
2 week Baltic and Norwegian fjords cruise and then a week in the west wing of an old manor house in the highlands. Italian cruise ship so looking forward to the food LOL, thankfully junk food is very expensive in Scandinavia so will be good for healthy lunches! On track for my 2lb per fortnight loss yay, I think I'll just make my goal in time for the holiday!
Gym and vibro machine for me today. Looking forward to homemade chilli for dinner as I made it last night.

Re: Weight Watchers
Hopefully the weather will pick up, a wee bit of sunshine does make you feel energised! I go through slumps too but you've done so well so far, pick a start day and stick to it. I find it easier to be good at work plus we have a gym on site so I'm lucky. Have a Starbucks once a week.as your treat if you can afford the calories xx

Re: Weight Watchers
Been full of the cold and sore throat this past week so not eating much but that doesn't seem to have made me lose any weight!!!! However, been this morning for my diabetic check up and everything seems on track but have put on 5lbs since I was there in November according to their scales so have to lose it and obviously a lot more this summer. Going on a Rhine river cruise in September so want to lose a good bit of weight by then. Hopefully the weather will improve and encourage me to eat more salads and walk more.
