Italian cruise ship so looking forward to the food LOL, thankfully junk food is very expensive in Scandinavia so will be good for healthy lunches! On track for my 2lb per fortnight loss yay, I think I'll just make my goal in time for the holiday!
Gym and vibro machine for me today. Looking forward to homemade chilli for dinner as I made it last night.
Oh wow the Norwegian fjords are breathtaking and the Baltic sounds wonderful but sorry to say the food isn't that expensive (I had a fair few cakes in Denmark and Sweden last year   hence I live on this thread. The marzipan cakes and cinnamon buns are just perfect but as Andrews says cinnamon is good for you o/ ) Have a fabulous time :D
biggins wrote:Been full of the cold and sore throat this past week so not eating much but that doesn't seem to have made me lose any weight!!!! However, been this morning for my diabetic check up and everything seems on track but have put on 5lbs since I was there in November according to their scales so have to lose it and obviously a lot more this summer. Going on a Rhine river cruise in September so want to lose a good bit of weight by then. Hopefully the weather will improve and encourage me to eat more salads and walk more. :cross:
Hope you're feeling better :cross: What a lovely trip you have planned, where about's are you cruising? It sounds like heaven, I nearly went on the Rhine in Cologne but we were 3 days too early  The scenery along the Rhine is just so beautiful I've still got lots of it still to experience. This is why I have to work such long hours as when these places are mentioned I look them up and think wow I would love to do that, there are so many beautiful places out there :D

My next trip is Portugal and will be in beach wear hence the exercise regime is needed to be stepped up.

Menu of the day is similar to yesterday but with the vegetable chilli for dinner. Moggers I just love the humous and have no idea why I haven't had it before, probably because I'm eating something else

Cruise leaves from Basel and we cruise down the Rhine stopping at several places and end at Amsterdam. Was sick as a dog on a cruise to the Bahamas so trying a trip on a calmer river instead of an open sea. Scenery looks amazing.

Alythonian's OH said he gets sea sick too but can do the river cruises without any problems - so :cross:

Oh wow that is brilliant its amazing what a change in diet can do. o/ I gave up meat/fish on Tuesday, been drinking loads of water and have lost 3lbs in 4 days and I know this isn't something that ladies talk about but it really does clean out your digestive system  I know that this will be just a one off initial loss but I do feel so well, I must admit that as I have just been marinating some beef kebabs for OH's dinner it is very tempting to make one for myself but I'm not
moggers wrote:Oh god not marzipan!!! I could eat my own weight in marzipan, Germany is usually my danger destination with marzipan and gingerbread lol.
They actually incorporate them in their cakes with a touch of creme anglaise and you really have died and gone to heaven eating them. I'm with you on the Germany front and the gingerbread plus luckily foreign calories don't count so enjoy them o/

How fabulous and what breathtaking scenery you will encounter. I too get sea sick and once when I went to Norway I spent most of the 26 hours over the choppy North Sea in the toilet, I thought that I was going to have to live there forever.

Menu of the day:
Smoothie with banana and raspberries (300 calories) I should start varying my breakfasts but after MsThrifty came up with this suggestion I have been addicted to them.
Poached egg on toast and a weight watchers mango yoghurt (350 calories)
Sweet potato and half a tin of ratatouille (450 calories) this was supposed to be my quick dinner from yesterday but I ended up doing an impromptu visit to the vets (Rosie with conjunctivitis) so had Belvita biscuits as ate in the car. An orange to follow (60 calories)
Cadbury's Options tonight. (50 calories)

I wasn't going to exercise today as I am going to do a bit more timbercare, its one gate and 5 fence panels to do this weekend then its just the garden furniture to treat before the end of the month. I actually really enjoy doing them as its so relaxing and it looks so fresh. Just been reading that RickyRaj has been for a run so feel inspired so I will do my DVD now and just close the curtains and doors so no one can see me

What is everyone else up to today?

Yay! 3lbs off in 2 weeks. I have been using the vibroplate for 10 mins three days a week (2 after my usual gym workout) and I think it is toning stuff up. Only 3 weeks until goal deadline eeek, still have 1.3 kg to go.
