On Sun 9 Jun, over 350 working farms across England, Scotland and Wales will open their gates to the public for activities such as pig racing, scarecrow making, grow-your-own foods and pedal tractor racing (this one's for adults only). Some guided tours and tractor rides for kids will also be available at certain farms. See if a local farm is participating using this Farm Finder.
Most are free to walk in, though some require you to book ahead and others may charge a fee (£1-£2) or ask for a donation. Check the Open Farm Sunday website before you go (if no entrance fee is mentioned, then the farm shouldn't be charging to get in). You may also need to check whether the event's still happening if the weather's been bad the week before.
