Loving that Gillian Anderson's character has a darker side.

I'm not in the least bit squeamish but some of the violence is shocking. This is not a criticism. The portrayal of violence should always be shocking.
I'm really enjoying The Fall. Need to catch up though as had no time to see E4 yet.
I heard many great things about it...seems quite dark though, so have not been in the mood recently...

I saw Four Lions movie last weekend, absolutely amazing, well recommended.

Finally on track with The Fall. Really enjoying it, but I think next time there is a short series, I'll wait and watch the whole thing in one sitting, because I absolutely hate to wait for the next episode. Especially when it's the last episode. I'm talking to you too, Arne Dahl!

Just watched "Shame"

oh my.

Astonishing film. The only "shame" here is that more film-makers are not so visionary.

Absolutely flawless.

10/10

ps picked up this dvd & a bunch of over top notch titles from blockbuster for a quid a piece. used but good. check out your local branch.

i have seen "hunger" before, but this makes me want to revisit it.

wow.

Has anyone been watching 'Hemlock Grove' on Netflix? I'm hooked! Sort of Twin Peaks meets Mulholland Drive meets Teen Wolf. Very dark and moody.

BBC Four.
Caught an interesting documentary on Aristotle last night and a documentary about child abuse in a US church the night before.
