Lost a pound this week but will need to lose a lot more before holidays in September. Been eating out too much at present. Reading what you are all doing but I am just doing the same old, same old - gaining and losing. Weather is not great this weekend so not as much walking as hoped to do but still okay health wise as been for my diabetic check up and they were pleased with my blood sugar levels. Told to try and lose some more weight - which I already knew!

Well done Biggins 1lb is brilliant and keeping the blood sugar levels under control is fabulous o/

I have maintained this week  I need to get the focused me back from last year as it took me 5 months to lose the weight initially and then maintained until March so why oh why am I just gaining a lb one week and losing it the next
I can't blame fluctuating hormones as they are not fluctuating much these days  I don't have any underlying medical conditions and feel perfectly fine so the simple answer is I have been snacking in between meals plus not exercising enough to make a calorie deficit :nono: I have had a Crunchie, a Ripple, chocolate limes (at the cinema and it was me that b*ght them  ) etc not all at once I may add. I have 3 outings that involve eating before I go on my holidays so they will be my treat days, a meal out with work so I'm guessing it will be a set meal, a day trip to Brighton and a birthday meal out with my friend.
I got up bright and early so have done my DVD.

Menu of the day:
Milkshake with strawberries and a banana (300 calories)
Ryvita with cottage cheese followed by a yoghurt (350 calories)
Cheese and onion quiche with salad and balsamic vinegar (400 calories)
I will have a 150 calorie healthy snack and will not eat in between meals :nono:

Let's all keep posting as it is so much easier when we are all encouraging each other o/

I miss you Greece and doing our workouts but I will do some Tiffany Rothe workouts this week.

So sorry to hear about your stomach problems Greece. Is it caeliac that you have or lactose intolerance? It must be so difficult if you have to watch what you eat to prevent stomach problems.

I'll be eating the same as yesterday but having Movements potato and chicken curry for dinner. I forgot to reply to his question the other day and I can say that his recipes are really easy to follow and delicious and I can guarantee that you will never resort to curry mixes in a jar again.

Deciding on exercise for today, I may do a walk and a couple of Tiffany Rote workouts.

What is everyone else up to today?

Well done Moggers that is brilliant :cheer: We both have 1lb a week to lose so we can do this together :cross: o/ We will have to do daily posts and keep each other motivated :D The Norweigans tend to be very lean and stunning so you will be like one of the natives when you go :D I still haven't got any swimwear for my holiday (I threw it away last year as it looked old) but I have decided that my body is more suited to city wear ie fully dressed as although I have tried on a few swimsuits I just haven't got the figure for one :noo: I know I'm going on (sorry for the moan on a Sunday morning) but it goes against the grain to b*y something that doesn't look nice but I do want to swim so I'm going to have to deal with it

Diane, I found a nice wee one piece with a skirt. A bit retro style in Primark of all places, has tummy control and is rather nice and not being a youngster anymore is flattering but not older lady if you know what I mean! The norwegians will be about 6ft taller than me, I am only 5ft 2 lol!!
Yes let's get that 1lb off this week matey, we can do it!! I need to up my water intake again, getting into bad habits so will try that plus be extra good during the week.

Just had Moviemann's potato and chickpea curry. It was delicious and as the man says himself very easy to make, I doubled the quantity so have made enough for 6 substantial portions so enough for dinner tomorrow and had it with a chapati and no rice. It is so economical and I'm guessing that it cost less than £1.50 for the 6 portions o/ I got these http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/ ... =267141268 plus the cumin seeds were on this offer http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/ ... =259685759 on line it just shows 2 items on offer but loads of other spices available in store and it works out about a sixth of the price of Tesco's and much much less than Sharwoods o/

Thanks to our very own chef for all his recipes o/
