I have even been known to lead them down the garden path by giving them chocolate bars to eat on the train back to Manchester. But I do read with interest all the lovely menus, exercise regimes and encouragement that members give to each other. Diane65 is chief guru here so you will be in good hands, eumenides. I'm just a lurker which is far too evident when you see the size of me. Too many films and sitting about but I do draw the line at eating anything in the cinema which is probably about the only time in the day I do!
I always take your good advice ejwrank and each time I've met you I have been eating  There is nothing wrong with the size of you. I did share the chocolate with the Manchester FMUKers, steve would snitch on me if I didn't.

Menu of the day:
Milkshake with a banana and strawberries (300 calories)
Tandoori chicken salad sandwich (I cooked loads of the tandoori last night so that there would be plenty for sandwiches for us all - even made so much that I've made OH's colleague a sandwich ) (350 calories) Tesco light choices strawberry yoghurt (60 calories)
Vegetable chilli made with butternut squash, swede, green beans, tomatoes, chillies, garlic, onions and kidney beans (350 calories) - This is out of the freezer as I made loads last month and as it is only me and the cats tonight a very easy dinner (350 calories) Followed by an apple (70 calories as large)
I will have 2 lotus bicuits with a coffee tonight (120 calories)

Its the Tracy Anderson DVD tonight - I know that I keep on saying it but I should do it more often as slipping down to just once a week. :nono:

What is everyone else up to today? I'm guessing will be getting sorted for her holidays and has Andrews returned from her holiday is Spain plus is Biggins on another break away? I know that rawr_xoxo is busy with her promotion work now she is a star. Keep posting everyone and thanks to moviemann for all your positive vibes o/

Back from Spain at the weight I took with me! There's a result, if ever there was one. This is my new starting weight. Let's see what I can do to shift a few pounds. I have recorded a few fitness programmes from Sky to give me some variety in the keep fit department and b*ght Josie's DVD. Hope everyone else is doing well. I must read all the posts I've missed as soon as I can. :D

Ok, here goes. Started the day with a Shredded Wheat, as I'm old school. Lunch will be a brie and grape roll (30%, 70% proportions respectively) followed by strawberries and blueberries. Dinner: cheese and broccoli escalope on a bed of Moroccan style couscous.
Amongst all this I hope to fit in gardening, whatever's left of my tax return and a bit of Wimbledon....why is there no tennis thread or have I overlooked this horribly ?
Have a great day all WWs !

That's a very impressive menu Mr Eumenides o/ and thanks Diane65 for your kind words , you are always so kind :)

I have Wimbledon on my TV at the office all day ! That makes me sounds like a right lazy so and so :D but its not a normal thing :D usually have Sky News or Bloomberg on, but have to make an exception for Wimbledon :) However, since my most favourite player ever the beautiful Victoria Azarenka had to pull out so early on its just not been the same , all this slippery court controversy throughout the week hasnt been good too, a lot of giants fell yesterday though so thats brought some excitement back :)

My Menu today

Brekkie: Porridge mixed with milk and 2 servings of strawberry protein powder

Lunch: Soupy noodles with added Prawns and red chilli paste

Mid afternoon: Bar of chocolate and Tea (no sugar) and a pear (very much into pears at the moment )

Dinner : we have guests over tonight and will be having chicken biryani with roasted potatoes and raita

Just before bed: Chocolate flavoured protein shake

Exercise:

Went to the Gym at lunchtime today , 30 mins spinning , 10 mins running, 20 mins of weightlifting followed immediately by 2 servings of protein shake

I know that I shouldn't say it but your meals sound delicious. Moviemann and eumenides very healthy meals o/ Welcome back Andrews and that is a result o/

Menu of the day:
Milkshake with strawberries and a banana (300 calories) I need to start varying my breakfast but I love this.
Mushroom pate and ryvita followed by an apple (400 calories)
Moviemann's chickpea and potato curry with a chapati (or 2) (380 - 500 calories)

Depending on the weather this evening it will be a 4 mile walk or the DVD - The walk would be ideal to exercise my heart which has been having a very long rest.

Keep the inspiration going and have a fun day o/

Where is everyone and our inspiring each other? I have done a couple of workouts this week and generally ate heathily but did go out for a curry last night but 4 of us shared a peshwari naan as all on health kicks. Got 2 more days before my holiday so can't see my 3lbs being lost mainly due to portion size plus not enough exercise as only doing enough to maintain - I need the focused me from last year to reappear. Have a fun day everyone o/

Diane 65, my Tracy DVD has come and I am up to the warm up stage. Wow my legs were hurting! Only looked at the rest from a prone position. Did keep to small portions today as had to be in so many places in short spaces of time, my place of work is going to be going through 're-structuring' (so I think I may will be going though a bit myself with the stress). No real time for long lunch. Taking the DVD on hols with me to do before everyone else wakes up :D
Determined to be a different shape when I return (not a giant pear). Foresee lots of salad/veggie meals in my cause over the next weeks.

Enjoy doing it, wait until you try the arms they are tough but really work plus they do get easier and may I say enjoyable with time.

I'm impressed that you're taking it on holiday. I'm off to Portugal this afternoon and been stupid as now working 9 until 11.30 in the morning and need to leave at 12noon for the airport so no time to fit in any exercise. I will try and be relatively healthy and exercise while I'm away. Keep happy and healthy everyone.
