Re: Weight Watchers
I know it will seem like constant excuses re exercise but I'm working 8am until 9:30pm today so really won't have time today but as I'll have a proper lunch and dinner break I will eat very healthily (in uniform hence can't go out for a quick walk). I have also put on 2lbs as eating too much and not exercising enough
This mega long day is just catch up as I was off on leave most of last week and after this week I should be back to 40 hours ish which is just perfect
Menu of the day:
Milkshake with a banana and raspberries (250 calories)
Hummous with chilli and 6 jacobs savours plus a tomato and a weight watchers fromage frais. (350 calories)
An apple as a snack (50 as very small)
Tesco light choices tikka masala (350 calories).
Cadbury's Options at bed time.
Looking forward to getting meal plans from everyone to inspire us and hearing from my good friend Preston1990 again (I couldn't have done it without you and I will be eternally grateful to you).

Re: Weight Watchers
Thanks for all those lovely "Welcome Back" messages. I really felt quite emotional, and flattered that you'd remembered me, after all this time.
Well it's only been two days, but so far it hasn't been the most auspicious of starts to my so-called diet. I have consumed a full packet of 6 Melton Mowbray mini pork pies, two full packets of milk chocolate hobnobs, two Indian ready meals with rice, a £6.00 packet of sushi selection, and yesterday I went out at tea-time and had a large glass of cava and a rather big portion of sticky toffee pudding with warm butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice-cream. Mmmmm.....butterscotch sauce!!
.......And that's not a comprehensive list of what I've eaten either, because I've had some "good" stuff as well - like the full cantaloupe melon (yesterday breakfast), and porridge with grapes and berries (for breakfast this morning) and also a homemade salad for lunch today. I couldn't even begin to add up the calories even if I wanted to.
So......muchious room for improvement to my approach I'm thinking. But as we always used to say, and I've just spotted that the lovely moggers has just said it too, "Tomorrow is another day".
And having just read Aruif's post, I kind of sense that neither of us are in a good place with our self control over food intake at the moment. But,... I know that deep down we will both succeed with our weight and fitness goals. OK - it probably won't be either easy or quick - but we will do it.
I know, from my time here before, that there are some fantastically helpful and supportive people on this forum. With that kind of encouragement and self-help we can't fail. So I'm resetting my weightloss tracker to my current weight and giving myself a target to aim for. Tomorrow will be day one!
On a more positive note - I did cycle 24 miles today! So I'm feeling quite good about that at least!!

Re: Weight Watchers
Well I would say I'd be good over the weekend but as I'm camping I think everyone knows what will happen lol. My vibro plate and walking wouldn't have helped to compensate my 3 dishes of tapas and crema catalana at dinner.

Would you be one of the Glasgow Viking Ladies pictured on that website link, Moggers? There is one with a similarish name to your sunday name. Could you be the seamstress, I wonder?

Re: Weight Watchers
Please don't be so hard on yourself and you have certainly not gone off the rails. Everyone deals with terrible things in different ways and it is your way of coping. We are all right behind you and once you have got over the shock of the news we will encourage you all the way so please keep posting.aruif wrote:had terrible news and now off the rails again. do not care if i drink or if i eat a cream cake. do not care a jot right now.

We all have the munchies from time to time but you are already offsetting some of the goodies with a very long bike ride. Its good to see you finishing on a positive note but must say I've never tried butterscotch sauce - sounds yummy!
You did it last year and the same crowd are still here plus a few new friendly and supportive additions. MrG will be back when he finishes the cricket season but is lurking. I need to get this 6lbs off so bring it on Preston1990 and say it as it is to me as I need to get my head in gear.
Have a fun weekend Moggers sounds brilliant
