Was pretty good yesterday
Cornflakes with skimmed milk
Chicken sagg with rice (278 calories)
Snack of one large matzo cracker ( if you haven't tried these, get some. The wee ones are only 18 calories each, large is 78) broken into 4 with 2pieces spread with no added sugar organic peanut butter
Homemade chilli ( just lean mince, kidney beans, passata, onions and mixed diced peppers with paprika and chilli powder) asda oat and garlic pitta and some tortilla chips.
I like my chilli a bit more tomato based so will put some tomato paste in next time but had run out yesterday.
That sounds very healthy and I will be trying the matzo cracker - never heard of it.
I did eat a lot at the picnic but that did include so lots of veg so not all bad plus it was my treat day
Menu of the day:
Porridge with semi skimmed milk (300 calories)
Ham salad sandwich (350 calories as large) tesco light choices yoghurt (70 calories)
French onion soup out of a tin with a slice of granary bread (280 calories)
I'm working until 7.30pm hence lighter dinner but will have healthy snacks throughout the day to make up the calories and will go for a quick walk this evening before it gets dark.
Have a fun day everyone and lovely to see all the recipes/menus on here especially salad a la Moyle
