Off to my daughter's house today and will see the grandchildren when they come out of school. Going out for lunch - daughter's treat as she has got a new job - will probably be Italian as that is her favourite so I will not be a good girl today.

Leaving hubby at home to see to the plumber who is coming today to install a new boiler.

Out walking yesterday along by the railway line and picked a load of brambles. Had some with my cereal this morning but not sure what to do with the rest as not enough to make jam. Bramble soup?? ;)

Oh No! You see Moggers, Diane says she did mean Chris Moyles after all 8O :tears:

People can be so cruel!!

Today's Meals

1. Porridge, skimmed milk and blackberries (hand picked from track-side bushes by yours truly on yesterday's bike ride o/ )

2. Salad a la Moyles.

3. Chicken Jalfrezzi with rice ready meal with lightly toasted pitta bread (as fake naan - with a nod to calorie counting)

4. Tea and toast with a light scraping of marmite.

Lots and lots of water!!

O.K. I'm off out now to sulk with a bike ride ;)

 "Allez Moylesy!"

Have a groovy day "Dahn the Smoke" all you FMUK picnic in the park people!

Enjoy your days everyone else too!! :D

That is absolutely hilarious!! This blackberry picking must be addictive as I too had said to DD yesterday that we must go blackberry picking as spotted loads yesterday - We are all leading parallel lives!!!

Great pic Preston -- something for you to aspire to with all your Moylesian cycling???

Looking forward to the salad a la Moyles recipe. It will no doubt be hilarious,

Ha! I've done some research :book: and.....apparently, as far as I can make out, authentic "Salad a la Moyles" would be Chips, Pie, gravy, Chocolate Cake, and beer. Though not necessarily in that order. :p

Here's my source: http://www.lyricsmania.com/i_will_alway ... oyles.html

You'll be pleased to learn that I actually had a Waitrose prawn layered pasta salad at 379 kcals. ;)

Roll on Wednesday weigh day. :cross:

What's everyone been up to? :D

Oh I could eat that salad!
Was pretty good yesterday
Cornflakes with skimmed milk
Chicken sagg with rice (278 calories)
Snack of one large matzo cracker ( if you haven't tried these, get some. The wee ones are only 18 calories each, large is 78) broken into 4 with 2pieces spread with no added sugar organic peanut butter
Homemade chilli ( just lean mince, kidney beans, passata, onions and mixed diced peppers with paprika and chilli powder) asda oat and garlic pitta and some tortilla chips.

I like my chilli a bit more tomato based so will put some tomato paste in next time but had run out yesterday.

That sounds very healthy and I will be trying the matzo cracker - never heard of it.
I did eat a lot at the picnic but that did include so lots of veg so not all bad plus it was my treat day ;)

Menu of the day:
Porridge with semi skimmed milk (300 calories)
Ham salad sandwich (350 calories as large) tesco light choices yoghurt (70 calories)
French onion soup out of a tin with a slice of granary bread (280 calories)
I'm working until 7.30pm hence lighter dinner but will have healthy snacks throughout the day to make up the calories and will go for a quick walk this evening before it gets dark.

Have a fun day everyone and lovely to see all the recipes/menus on here especially salad a la Moyle o/
