I wtched 2 Days in New York. Started out ok but got a bit tiresome of the nutty family from Paris! Actually, thinking about it, the only sane person in the film was Chris Rock

im still getting through last season of breaking bad - but wondering once ive finished, is house of cards a good follow up? Or is the hype more than the quality of the show?

Great British Bake off. And I even remembered to watch it live. And I definitely got baking on my mind now ...

I watched the last episode of Martina Cole's The Take. This series was fabulous, the characters, acting -- especially Tom Hardy was excellent. I'm definitely going to watch the next serialising of another one of her books, which apparently is starting this week Thursday. Did anyone else see this?

I agree rawsalsa, The Take is a great adaption. I saw it a few years ago when it was first shown on TV and was gripped. Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley did an excellent job.

If you liked The Take, I think you'd also like The Runaway - I thought that was very well done too.

I'm not sure what adaptation you are referring to that starts on Thursday? I'd definitely be keen to catch that.

Hi, thanks for the advice opas o/ . It's interesting that you've mentioned "The Runaway" as it appears that it is this book adaptation that will be serialised, starting this Thursday, 11pm on Pick TV. I'll definitely be watching.

Person of Interest Season 1.

Looks interesting and has 8+ reviews on IMDB. Wasn't aware this was a J J Abrams production and was written by Christopher Nolan's younger brother. Looking forward to it even more now!

All my friends are obsessed with House of Cards, but I wasn't thrilled with the pilot. But I also hated Breaking Bad so my opinion on this might not be the best for you.

When I'm on a break from the dissertation I'm watching Iron Chef America as its mindless, and Iron Chef Japan was my favourite food show from when I was really young. The American version keeps the kitsch of the original, the episode I just watched has Neil Patrick Harris and his husband as judges, and given what the secret ingredient was was highly entertaining.
