I'm sitting in my dad's flat waiting for a delivery of aids he will need when he comes home. Delivery will be sometime between 8am and 4pm. Makes visitng dad today quite difficult though they have put down for an early delivery. I'm going to use the time in his house productively by making bed up, doing ironing for hospital and on FMUK! Yay! :D

Yesterday we had beautiful autumn weather in the south-east (same again today): cold start, but followed by blue skies and bright sunshine to show off the spellbinding autumn tints. I was out walking all day in the Weald of Kent, which has some simply stunning scenery, yet not a single other walker did I see - such a waste!

It was such a cold start today that I gave in and put the heating on for the first time in months; also made porridge for breakfast, whereas yesterday I was outdoors, sitting in the sun on a bench carved from a fallen tree, overlooking a lake. Really wished I'd taken my camera, but stopping for photos would slow me down too much.

Lovely! There are so many beautiful places in the UK. I wish I was there with you! It would have taken me a second to take a snap, but that is me! :P Could you not take one while you were sitting and savouring, so you are not slowed down? ;) I concur with moviemannn, a very inspiring post! o/
