Back from seeing this. What can I say? Well thanks to Ploggit who very kindly donated his competition win to let us see this. Film started at 18:30 with people still coming in. Then it stopped at 18:41 for security who appeared from nowhere to say that film is meant to start at 19:00. At about 18:50 a female rep who I can only guess is from Disney as she didn't interact with any of the patrons read an embargo to everyone basically saying no filming and not to talk about it. Didn't realise it was Fight Club. As she was in a not very loud voice and we were in in our usual seats we could just about hear. However it was the most silliest way to do this as there is no mention when we can actually talk about it and no one signed anything. That is my disclaimer.

Film 8/10

EDIT: Just seen that Empire has already written a review so stuff that. Personally OH and I really enjoyed this. This is the shortest of the Marvel films but at 114 minutes it doesn't outstay it's welcome. Don't think and just enjoy the ride. Lots of funny lines especially from Loki and watch out for the cameos especially one in particular which is very funny and I don't mean Stan Lee.

Nope. I didn't see him. Nor did I realise there were two post credit scenes according to Empire. We only stay for the first one. Rookie mistake by us.

The funny cameo came when
Loki transform to become Captain America (Chris Evans) and then mimic him
I went to the West Midlands premier...with complimentary champagne (Thanks Marvel). The Disney rep (we had a man who introduced himself first) just spoke about no filming allowed, didn't say we can't talk about the movie.

The movie itself was quite good. There were some humorous lines, and the action and fight scenes we've come to know and expect from Marvel. I quite enjoyed it in RealD 3D.

Loki is the standout character for me, definitely!

Overall rating = 8.5/10

Saw this last night thanks to Caitlinmorton.

There was a drinks reception in the Painted Hall at Greenwich Naval College where some of the film was shot.

The film was fun and undemanding and it did not require the viewer to have seen the first film. Loki ( Tom Hiddleston) had all the best lines whilst Stellan Skarsgard whilst good was reduced to comedy relief. Plenty of action and destruction. Also nice to see the streets of London as well and to see London not completely destroyed for a change in recent films.

I saw the preview of this film in Norwich on Sunday. I love the Marvel films and this one didn't disappoint!

I'm still having trouble finding the words, but basically I LOVED THIS.

Seen it twice now. Still laughed just as hard second time around.

Only just realised I'd said the completely wrong person in my spoiler tag, doh! Oh well, they sort of look the same! :P

Ive just come back from seeing this. I thought it was great! :)
The banter was perfect, the story dragged ever so slightly in the beginning but the humour was quickly up and flowing :D
Lover every second of it :D the cursed were cool and the dark elves weapons were awesome!
Don't get me started on Loki's illusion tricks :')
God bless America! xD
Also, the end credit scene, definitely setting up
Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet
as the big baddy in Avengers 3!

9/10!!
