Am finally free of an embargo so I can post my review. It's a film that's just sort of there. Not really bad, just bland and competently professional - with few high or low points. The film equivalent of ready salted crisps.

Saw this earlier this evening and it was generally a positive experience, much preferred the first half of this movie as there was a lot more sentimentality in the second half but overall it still did enough to get a solid 7/10 from me...

Great film with constant gags, very easy comedy to enjoy.
Classic actors made the film with their performances
Would highly recommend: 8/10

This movie just flows. It doesn't come across as contrived in any way. It is so natural that it almost seems ad libbed and improvised in a lot of places. The characters are all individual and portrayed brilliantly without any hint of cliche or stereotype. A heartwarming and humerous portrayal of old age without being condascending in any way. This film has the perfect amount of emotion and plenty of laughs too without resorting to toilet humour. Prick. Asshole. A real feel-good movie. Highly recommended. Oh - and plenty of scenery and cinematography of Las Vegas for those who like that stuff.

Lastly - I so want a shot on that skyscraper roller-coaster!

10/10

a pleasant undemanding light comedy, nothing wrong with it but bear in mind its not a straight laugh a minute, theres a few themes to chase about your retirement years and it shifts between laughs to romance and a couple of serious issues too.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

I watched this in the hotel last night as it was very cold so decided to stay in. Agree with you it easy watching and just what I needed. Good cast and a few things to ponder on. 7/0.
