I really enjoyed it - Amy Adams was great playing against type and they let Jennifer Lawrence run away with it.

I really quite enjoyed this film with all it's twists and turns although I'm not sure it deserved the Golden Globes. It started off a bit slow but I found myself getting caught up in who was doing what and to whom and who was playing who. Some rather good one liners and comic touches. An entertaining couple of hours with a great cast and a reasonable story line. I actually pa*d for this movie (albeit at the Tuesday Savers discount price) and feel quite happy to have done so.

7/10

I went to the cinema for the first time in ages last weekend, and chose this movie to see.

I was completely taken with the outfits and the music, but I really didn't think much of the film unfortunately. As my boyf said, that really could have all just been condensed down into about an hour and I totally agreed. I thought it was terribly slow, and at one stage I hate to admit I was even a little bored.

I did however think each actor/actress played their part very well especially Amy Adams.

Wow, the film is captivating.... not just the outfit and the hair but the performances and the atmosphere. Check it out, it's worth it.

Overall it's a clever con, funny at times and crammed with wonderful performances. It might not have the zip and the pizazz of a Goodfellas or a Boogie Nights, but what it does have is Batman, Lois Lane, Rocket Racoon, Mystique and Hawkeye all in one film and all playing characters that are far more interesting than their comic book counterparts.

Used my one and only voucher on this and for the first 20-30 min regretted it only to be proved so wrong, first impressions can be so deceptive some times! Jennifer Lawrence steals the show, I had a brutal attack of the giggles when she was explaining to Bale that she had gone it all for good of his plan, Bale's face was absolutely priceless!
8.5/10 only because I just gave 9/10 to Dallas Buyers Club and feel that DBC is definitely the better film

Finally got to see this film with OH and I think we are definitely in the minority with this one...we found this to be a long film (too long). I think I had set my expectations way too high for this film and was maybe more let down by this. Had a great cast (which was part of the expectations) but the story was a little disappointing and a bit too many twists and turns.

Just as well we all like different films, eh?

Only a 5.5/10 from me.

You're not alone, I didn't hate it but don't agree with all the praise for it.

Saw it today with a voucher and there's some good hair and performances, but also some very indulgent, showy performances too. In fact the whole thing feels indulgent and not as clever or entertaining as I expected from what I'd heard. 6/10

Great film. Definitely felt a strong Goodfellas vibe running through the film (which isn't a bad thing).

Witty and superbly acted. Highly recommended.
