Just caught this at Glasgow.Undemanding forgetful fun.Nice easy going and relaxed Q & A after the film with Nick Frost.

Good to see so many FMUK members and to put a face to moggers.

Hah! Good to see you in real life scootermcc!
Daft British underdog comedy with rather large man and his tiny dancing feet. I enjoyed it, thankfully much of the nitty gritty sexy talk went right over DD's head as I took her thinking it was a 12A but she's used to me driving so bad language doesn't phase her. She was quite excited about Nick Frost being there for the Q&A as well.

Back from Glasgow. What a full screen indeed and lovely to meet Wilbur7 finally.

After all the heavier films we seen in a while it was good to see something much light-hearted. Personally I laugh out quite a bit in this so this film appealed to me. Loved the wee references of some classic 80's films. Nice to see Chris O'Dowd as a baddie for once. And good to see Nick Frost in the Q and A. Watch out for a cameo. 8/10

Preference of cinemas:- 1. Glasgow Renfield Street Cineworld, 2. Glasgow Showcase, 3. Braehead Odeon, 4. Vue Fort, 5 Glasgow Springfield Quay, 5. any other cinema in Glasgow area including Hamilton
Also Falkirk, Dunfermline and Stirling but these are rarely used for free previews.

No hurry for any review as the film doesn't come out until 14th February.

Saw this in Glasgow along with a growing group of FMUKers. :welcome2:
I was surprised to see a 15 rating at the start of the film and it would not have needed a huge adjustment to get a 12 rating which I think would open the film to a bigger audience. Thank goodness no one noticed moggers' DD as she could have been ejected . . . ;)
The film itself is a simple story and has all the ingredients of a good film and yet I felt there was something missing . . .some folk were chuckling away throughout the film but I didn't find it that funny, on the whole. I did like the character that Nick Frost portrayed and empathised with his salsa talent being re awakened. During the Q & A session, Nick Frost was very keen to stress that being his "size" often meant that men avoided the dance floor as he felt folk "pointed them out" but if dancing was your passion, then "Go for it!"
I enjoyed the film and am happy to have got the chance to see it for free, particularly as previews are a little thin on the ground in Glasgow.

Saw this last night in Glasgow with lots of FMUKers.

I thought this film was great, a really easy film to watch, lots of laughs and fab salsa dancing.
Wasn't sure about Nick Frost playing lead role but he really made it.

Enjoyed Q&A session afterwards too.
8/10 from me.

Brilliant movie!! Indeed, Claire, I was so excited that am planning on taking some salsa classes :)! It could work as a good wedding dance for when we walk down the aisle... :D!

I definitely recommend this! 9/10
