Off to see The Lone Ranger, Tonto and the horse soon. I have fairly low expectations of this film, having read too many negative reviews. But, as you know, I like Johnny Depp, so I have to go and find out for myself.

Update: We did not get in to the smallest screen in Newcastle. Went for a drink instead. Will have to wait for it to come onto TV.

my original impressions

"This was tremendous fun and the time just flew by.

Charming, witty & feel-good.

For me, easily the best blockbuster movie of this summer!

9/10"

just rewatched on sky, enjoyed even more. a future classic. 9.5/10

Haven't seen this yet, mostly because JDepp looks really bad in the trailer... Almost as bad as Transcendence looks >.<

I thought perhaps it was over long but as a movie i loved it and thought it was super :)

I found this really interesting, obviously there's lots of special effects and CGI, but probably much more than you thought.
