I loved this. Was gripped throughout and thought the twists and turns were excellent. Both of the main characters played their part so well.

Made me want to read the book!

I saw this film at the preview at Islington Vue, the screening was full. As I like action/ thriller movies I enjoyed it, did not think it was too long.

Fincher knocks it out the park again. Even though I had read the book I was still riveted throughout. The ending is a masterclass in tension.

I thought Rosamund Pike's performance was absolutely first class. Oscar material ??

I had not read the book and did not know what to expect.

Enjoyable film, although I thought there was a badly cut scene where Rosamund Pike is speaking to her Ex at the Bar. It looked as if she told him quite a bit more of her predicament and it jumped.

Brilliant performances by both leads. A really great film that had couples discussing the movie well after it ended.
8/10 and highly recommended.

Well worth waiting for this effort from Fincher.

Loved it. I went expecting a lot having read the book and certainly wasn't disappointed. Both Affleck and Pike shone in the lead roles.

a metamorphosis movie, if you don't read about it before you see it! so don't!

apart from the pretentious way of speaking the characters had which was kinda weird cos no one talks like that (but it helped to hold your attention), liked it.

Pike was good in her role, born for it in fact - shes got a really odd face tbh.

So well done and beautifully acted! I wasn't disappointed at all despite expecting a lot especially as I enjoyed the book as well. Go and see it!

Very entertaining and an interesting tale of a disintegrating marriage and the role of media in people's perception. Fincher does a very good job of keeping the tension high and slowly revealing the character's natures. Even though the ending is a little unsatisfying, I like that it is not a typical Hollywood ending is another way of showing the complexity of Nick and Amy's relationship. 8/10.

What a film. Loved it, recommended to the 10,000 friends (or so it felt) that went to see it after me. OH doesn't like films like that but even she loved it. Held her attention hats off to that!
