Black Souls

A slow burning Italian family drama. Found the characters a little hard to follow, except the brother who just wants to raise his only son and herd his goats in peace. The subtitles changes too fast though, so miss some dialogue. The film moves so slowly that it felt longer than it's one hour and 49 minutes length, with tensions slowly rising to an unexpected finale that actually lifts it from its langour. 7/10

Really enjoyed this film.
I agree it was difficult to know how the characters related to each other.
The final scene was shocking and slightly unexpected.
