Boring, contrived, pretentious clap-trap. We walked after 45 minutes. Not sure how I lasted that long. All these arty shots, and, oh look, more naked people! Weisz cries like a beginner and Caine and Keitel discuss how much they've managed to wee today. Dano wears sunglasses and gets nothing to do. Nutritional value: zero. I think I gave up when Paloma Faith turned up, playing herself.

A thought provoking study which leaves you ruminating on the mysteries of time (2hours really, it feels a lot longer), the life choices we make (perhaps Dirty Grandpa was actually a classic) and how old friends can let you down (Michael how could you, after all the trust you'd built up after Jaws 4!) and ultimately the big question why are we here (watching this film)

Seriously I'm not sure what it's about, I stopped caring about half an hour in, to summarise it's pretentious, the hotel looks lovely and there's probably more nudity than all the Porkys films combined.

And it turns out I only stayed because I thought my OH was enjoying it and she did the same 1/10

Yes it was pretentious drivel in the large, but it did have a few jokes and the Swiss scenery was pretty.
I thought Paul Dano was good and he did get more used towards the end. Jane Fonda - why?
Palma Faith - yes I can see why you'd want to leave at that point. Her cameo was completely and utterly pointless and meaningless to the film, snd her mere existence annoys me at the best of times!
The cow bell symphony bit was a delight, I really enjoyed that bit.
The musical performance at the end was a bit of a damp squib. They hold have stopped when he walked in the stage.
It sound, to me, like the better option tonight, but I still can't muster more than 4/10.

Saw this last night in a completely full Wimbledon Odeon. Well – that was two hours that I will never get back. What a pretentious, self-indulgent, chaotic, incoherent load of twaddle! It was very badly edited – in fact, maybe the editor was on holiday. It was meant to be arty – but all that gratuitous nudity and dreamy soft-focus shots just didn’t do it for me. I wasn’t even drawn in by the scenery which looked permanently grey, cold and uninviting. I couldn’t help but wonder what all those big names (Michael Caine, Rachel Weisz, Jane Fonda, Harvey Keitel, Paul Dano) were doing in this film – maybe the money was good. 0/10

And to think I could have been sitting at home watching Eastenders!
