The film was ok, rather too long for such a small premise. It was funnier than I thought it would be, Matt Smith was the best thing in it, really made the most of his role. 6/10

Re: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
found it strange that the film screening was sponsored by Top Man, when the majority of the Haymarket was female

Re: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
The film was entertaining enough, although I kind of felt that by having the whole zombie storyline the romance component never felt fully explored and vice versa. I did find it an interesting concept to do zombies in a very different kind of setting, nice and novel
I think I'll have to read the book next and compare.

Was the London screening invited guest list code?

I won my tickets for the London screening, and it looks like most people did, as they were clutching the same tickets as were sent to show, and also they had our names on a guest list.

Re: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
I thought this was brilliant. It was only spoiled at the Edinburgh Slackers screening being virtually totally female in its audience, and inane giggling at literally every second word! Laughing is fine, but this was constant. I'm sure alcohol played a part, but this was ridiculous. Totally spoiled it for me. Thanks females! Also my seat back was constantly rattled and kicked by a pair of okay-yahs behind me. How do you deal with that when seating was allocated?
Great zombie action. Great period pieces. It worked. Don't know why, but it just worked.

I loved it and had read the book before hand which is rare for me - normally I hate the film if I've read the book! 8.5/10
Hubby hated it but was traumatised for life by doing Pride & Prejudice for GCSE

Re: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Saw this at the Topman Haymarket screening with Q&A. Didn't have high hopes for it considering the title and other similarly titled UK films which turned out to be rubbish, but I was actually pleasantly surprised, thought it was really good. It had a good storyline that actually worked with the zombie theme. Matt Smith was brilliantly funny (who knew) and provided lots of little unscripted P&P-isms we found out in the Q&A.
There were lots of teenage girls squealing over Douglas Booth, who I thought handled the Q&A well. Although I thought it was quite funny when Douglass left after the Q&A, everyone got up to leave and Alex Zane tried very hard to keep people seated to wrap up, but we left anyway, aww bless
